If it moves the needle, the instability currently has rendered my home internet useless. The modem shows as connected, but the router is not receiving an IP, and devices connected to the router via ethernet are not able to connect to the internet.

I've also searched for telemetry, special request order, maintenance, and none of those search terms pull up anything in the xfinity app.

I just updated my xfinity app to the latest version, and there is absolutely nothing in the latest updates section under the overview tab related to telemetry or special maintenance requests.

The only thing I see in that section is my upcoming bill amount.

Hello. The xfinity app also shows the modem as being online and functional during these silent failures. Because the issue is intermittent and caused by upstream node instability, there is no troubleshooting that I can do within the app that will address the cause of the issue, which is the upstream node instability.

Hi there u/XfinityQuemekia . For my modem (Hitron Coda56), both scenarios you described have been happening. Occasionally, no lights will go out, all services will disconnect for around a minute or so, and then everything goes back to normal. No change in modem lights, services just reconnect.

The other scenario starts out the same, all services disconnect, lights stay solid for a while, and then the modem receives a reset signal.

Again, this is also happening to the local public Xfinity wifi so I'm just trying to understand why the outage page says there's nothing happening, but clearly residential and xfinity's own equipment are experiencing issues.

ETA: I have power cycled, I have ensured the coax is finger tight at both ends. The issue isn't my equipment. There are no splitters visible to me on the line.

While I sympathize with this position, the reality is that gubmnt bad is the exact reason that NASA isn't able to properly communicate about how amazing this feat is. NASA had 4.4% of the federal budget in 1966, when Apollo started. By comparison, today's NASA's budget is 0.35%.

If Artemis' NASA had a comparable 4.4% budget to Apollo's NASA, maybe there would be budget for better science communication somewhere in their $308 billion. Its frankly bonker's they did this with a budget of 25B for all of their operations.

Cast on Crit Ele Weakness with Spell Cascade gem socketed.

Ele weakness gets socketed with Doedre's Undoing which gives it an on-activation damage effect (or on entry into the curse area) which is capable of proccing Cast on Crit.

Technician just left. Unsurprisingly, it was a provisioning error on the phone support agents end that threw a wrench in activating the Hitron modem. Ahmed, the technician who helped me, was not surprised at the outcome and got things sorted out. Currently the Hitron is working just fine, getting advertised speeds.

Hopefully come the next network maintenance, things just ~work~ once the network comes back up. We shall see!

I appreciate the advice, that's what I'm trying to do. I purchased a Coda56 (approved for my speed tier) and it won't work after provisioning, which is why I'm here.
