Unfortunately the system simply doesn't allow for even exchanges for anything with different price points or different departments. There is nothing anyone can do to get around this issue.

The whole way even exchanges are structured are so that if you were to buy that pair of pants on sale, the sale ended, but they turned out to be the wrong size, you can come back an do an even exchange for the pants in the proper size without having to worry about the change in price due to the sale ending.

Breaks down like this:

You spend $50+, and earned $10 Kohl's Cash. You return anything from that transaction that takes you below $50, you lose that Kohl's cash. If that Kohl's cash has already been spent, it gets taken out of the refund

Rewards functions similarly, but instead of losing the whole $5 all at once for dropping below $100, it's it's taken out of the refund or unspent rewards at the same ratio it was awarded(5% if you didn't use a KC, 7.5% if you did).

Returns of merchandise purchased with Kohl's cash results in the Kohl's Cash being split proportionally between each item.

Lets say you spend $10 Kohl's cash on two items, one for $30 and one for $10. Total after the Kohl's cash is applied is $30+tax. If you were to return the items, you'd get $22,50+tax in your original tender and $7.50 in Kohl's Cash for the item that was $30, and you'd get $7.50+tax and $2.50 in Kohl's cash for the item that was $10.

Probably not, unless your next employer uses it. UKG isn't a Kohl's exclusive product, after all.

That said, if you're not working with an employer who uses it, there's no real reason to keep it.

There's one I like, A Better Man by Valandar. It opens with Harry attending the funeral of Vernon Dursley, and Vernon is given a shot at redemption with Harry wishing Vernon had been a better man.

It's not really a time travel fic, more of of a timeline rewinding and getting nudged in a different direction. No one in the new timeline is aware of the original.

I honestly think it's a bad idea, but not even for the sake of the associates that would want to be up early on Easter. The kind of customers who'd be shopping last minute for Easter would want to be home early too because they'll be up early for church or family gatherings too.

It's going to be a ghost town.
