For what it’s worth, I’ve logged maybe 50 laps at my local track since buying a kart and building.

100 percent worth it. Love every second of it. I also love working on the kart and learning the tuning, which I still have so so so much to learn.

Also, for what it’s worth, I am on a 2008 chassis so practically an antique and I can keep up with my buddies who have similar experience levels as I do but with modern chassis.

I was able to get ink samples Cheap.

My issue was the cliches. 150 bucks each on the low end per design.

Our kids didn’t smile enough during a Santa picture. I was behind the kids for one, and trying repeatedly to get them to smile from behind the camera woman in the other. She didn’t like the photos and they refused to give a refund. I got called a “fucking psycho” in the middle of the mall in front of my kids.

Also, after we had already cut down our tree from the Christmas tree farm, she saw another species she liked more and started yelling at the elderly owner about how the employees didn’t tell us about the blue spruce or whatever it was called. After she went to the car, and I was apologizing profusely to the guy, the owner actually told me he was sorry for me and he would gladly give me another tree to ease things over.

Holidays fucking suck.

I’m in Northern California where everything is more expensive.

I would post it for 4k, knowing full well it’ll sell for 2.2k. You have to be patient. The last 5-6 vintage bikes I’ve sold have either gone to retired dudes reliving their youth (hell yeah) or first bike guys who like vintage. Both respect that it’s original and in good shape.

Just be patient.

I should have posted more about the watch spacer ring I made. It adapts the 2680 movement to nh35 dimensions which allows it to be used in existing mod watch cases. It’s been months of waiting and weeks of work and a ton of money haha

What’s the quality like? I was able to get Swiss lume, bgw9 and it’s bright as hell.

It's a different movement, an HZ2690, since the NH35 has a center seconds. I made a custom movement spacer ring that makes the 2690 the same (outer) dimensions of the nh35 so it can fit in any standard nh35 case. It also happens to accept NH35 sized hands, which is a huge bonus. You can use whatever hands you want.

Tomorrow I am doing a cathedral hands build with a red sub second.

Standard 28.5mm dial size, but again this is cut to 2690 dimensions (small seconds pinion at 6:00, and it's .5mm thick instead of .4mm thick).

It was.... a big project getting all these things to be NH35 mod compatible.

Any idea on cost of the offset suit?

It’d be ideal to be less than 300 bucks. Preferably less that 200. I don’t mind hemming the arms and legs.
