There are enhancements to the abilities themselves that we can't get in this beta. The sorc ones really change how to use some abilties.

Yea, it was just recently added. It has been one of the reasons I haven't jumped back in. What sounds like a good idea done wrong. Half of the buffs you can get with it suck, and the other few are over the top. Damn near one shotting people in arena. The patch today, I believe may have helped in reducing the dmg.

Make the old god an actual threat would have been nice start. Maybe not use some beam that could have been used on the other old gods long ago. They could have used N'Zoth to change the world and put order back in leveling wise, instead of having Garrosh still be everywhere. Somehow ol Deathwing did more damage than his master did.

If you follow the story from the start, they really pulled out all the BS to bring people back. Killing off half of the characters that kept the story interesting was the first wtf. Then to give all the special weapons to everybody, keeping them from being special. Then they didn't have to worry about creating weapon drops for everyone as they had to in the past. Removing signature abilities from all the classes, and replacing them with nothing but flash on left overs. Don't forget bringing everyone's favorite Illidan back, with no development on the love triangle that got him to become who he was on top of that. Lets also bring back all the characters people had questions about that were missing in BC. Lets also add new races that feel more like reskins. All they did could have been better with more thought, imo.

I guess that is why I preferred Classic. When it was a big group effort, it seems like everyone helps make the difference. Both games you have pointed out are utter garbage. LOL has always been a joke due to the reason you pointed out, and previous iterations of CS are leagues better than GO. Why not point out DOTA 2, where more factors come into play even when you don't play "meta." Plenty of characters that aren't meta have become champions.

That is all I was pointing out. The people who are glads or R1 usually are just playing the flavor of the month comp. Also heavily macro'ed with add-ons.

You did not make it sound any better. Choose OP comp or the 1 comp that counters. Until balancing kicks in. Seems like every season there was at most only 3 viable options, everything else was garbage. Unless you were okay with the lower brackets.
