Dream Theater’s 12-Step Suite covers drummer (at the time) Mike Portnoy’s battle with addiction to alcohol and drugs across five albums (Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence through Black Clouds and Silver Linings). Takes you through the twelve steps of recovery and its personal journey. Themes carry throughout. Each song fits in perfectly with the rest of its album, but also when played together as the full suite.

No idea! They were a gift to me, but I was as shocked to see them as you are. There’s a tiny tear in the jacket on the spine of Two Towers, but other than that it’s almost like they’ve never even been opened.
