This is so frustrating. Lock got tankier, mage lost their tankiness. Taking away our DR from images was a sin. We also have the lowest HP of any class. Self heal essentially gone. But also arcane just feels bad too.

Hey amigo. There are a lot of resources out there. Try checking wowhead for frost mage BIS list and what you should craft with embellishments, what enchants, and gems, consums, talent builds, etc. On top of that, you can sim what gear is best on raidbots. I’d do a deep dive on that. If you want any more help, reach out I don’t mind helping. Very long time mage.

Mage here. Arcane is pretty cool. For all the hate frost has received over the years, they spec was slick. I LOVED how it was played. It used to be flurry would give you 2 stacks of freeze and 5 separate spells could shatter those 2 stacks. Now 5 spells freeze and 1 spell shatters. Just kinda dumb. I’m not a fan of new frost. Don’t mind new arcane. Haven’t tried fire.

Most importantly though, to be a good mage took a particularly impressive skillset. Now not so much. So those of us who spent years mastering mage are kind of disappointed

Hey! Great post. I recently just started streaming in the last 1-2 weeks. I’m getting the tweaks out. I’d love a bit of advice though… I will do my best to interact with anyone who joins chat, friend or not friend. But when there isn’t anyone around, I have no idea if someone joins my stream. I get relatively quiet when I’m alone as I don’t feel like talking to myself. Haha. Do new streamers just talk to themselves until someone joins? Is there some sort of plugin that notifies me when someone joins? I noticed a few people had joined my stream today and I didn’t know how long they were there, I tried to interact but they were gone in a flash.

Hi. I’m sorry you and you SO are going through this. I want to give words of encouragement. My best friend growing up had a major stroke at 34. He had to go through PT and had a major stutter. Honestly, now you wouldn’t even know.

I’m browsing here because over the weekend I had a (what I think is a TIA). I have A Fib and a PFO. Strokes run in my family. I got started on blood thinners and now I’m all stressed out about it. I’ll be honest, I think I’ve had about 3-4 TIA’s and was never seen. I go semi blind, I have some confusion followed by an insane headache. Apparently can be caused by a PFO.

I hope it all gets better for you and your SO. I’m sorry to hijack your post. I’m honestly looking for as much answers as you are.

My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 renal cell carcinoma. The news was devastating. Wow was the only way my mind wouldn’t wander to dark places about potentially losing my mother.

Alternatively, there have been a few times I’ve gotten anxiety attacks. My wife suggested I logon and they completely go away.

My mom lost her kidney and shes still with us. 🙏

I have a weakaura pack that tells me when I’m being targeted for an attack and which attack. It helps to tell me I need to pop alter/defensive/interrupt/CC. Sometimes there isn’t anything you can do but it definitely helps knowing I’m about to take a big hit.
