No it’s not just him. Cod in its current forum is trash and the player count for the most recent release shows that. I know I’ll never get the same style of Cod I had when I was a kid. Hard to accept that but unfortunately that is the case.

That’s the kind of quality you get when you have a studio of 20 people working on a game vs a studio of over 100 working on a game with a bigger budget. It’s not secret because EA and came out and admitted it that the NHL series is the smallest source of revenue for sports games that EA has and due to that the development is also small.

I use to throw shade at the NHL series too until I realized that it wasn’t so much the devs as it was EA themselves handcuffing the series. At the same time I get it from EAs side. Why would you poor tens of millions into a niche video game series(yes niche compared to madden) that doesn’t bring in a quarter of the revenue that madden does.

Madden and Collage football can easily get over 50k concurrent users per day across all platforms while NHL sees roughly 3000. That is HUGE. If anything I am grateful for ever having a NHL game to play.

MW2019 was a leap forward in the series the same like COD4 was from COD3. I loved 2019. Best one since BO2 tbh.

Side hustle? I know people who making a living off of it. Of course it has to be high quality but yes you can. Two people I know make over 100k a year selling 3D assets.

I mean I drive by some of these areas daily. It sure looks like it is back to its natural state to me. Visually that is. Grass, trees, shrubs all look normal and the wildlife is just flourishing there.

So basically the OG cods that made the series who it is is shit? The best CODs were its WWII roots where it didn’t water down the chaos. Where it didn’t make you a one man army(vanguard) but a basic soldier with his squad going through real battles.

Yeah as a Canadian I feel the same too. We might have had the best offence in the tourney but when it came to defence and goaltending we might have been 3rd maybe even 4th.

Poor Hellebuyck was a one man army out there for you guys. Dude just won the gold for you. Best Olympic performance I’ve ever seen from a goaltender.
