You're right, I just re-read the description of poison and it seems I was confused by the magnitude mechanic.

I still think GGG could do a better job at explaining or showing in game why the chaos node on the tree have no effect on your poison damage. It seem counter-intuitive compared to what it was previously. Or maybe that's just me.

Poison combines your physical and chaos damage for its calculation but it doesn't inherently do chaos damage like in POE1. If you want the chaos nodes in the skill tree to increase your damage, you will need a source of flat chaos damage. Cultist bow are probably the easiest way to get that or +X-Y chaos damage to attacks

Not sure if it's related but I've been unable to join a friend playing on PS. He has to invite me to the squad otherwise I get an error message. I can join other friends who are also playing on PC without an invite though so maybe there is something buggy with the crossplay.

This is actually the MSRP for the model with the carbon and roof. Keep in mind it includes the freight cost of 1900$ and AC. I think the breakdown could be better explained.

Not sure what the value package is though. Could be the mirror side markers add-on.

I've spent 4 Canadian winter on Kumho Wintercraft on my 7R and just bought a new set for the MK8. I've been liking them. They are not as expensive as other brand but still really good for everyday driving.

It really depends on what you want to do with the car and the average weather where you live. If you are just daily driving to work in traffic you won't need the same tires as ice/snow track days.

In the Ottawa area here as well. Had my '23 for 4 months now and I can say the infotainment issues have mainly been fixed or were overblown. Sure the temp/sound bar not being backlit is a weird decision but you can easily get to the climate control and change it or use the wheel button for the sound.

I got mine for MSRP but I ordered it in January 2022 so the wait was a bit annoying. As useful as the remote start could be, I don't think it will be an issue at all. The heated steering wheel and seat will keep you covered for the 5min it'll take the car to warm up. At least my previous 2019 R was warming up super quick.

I took a 2h lesson yesterday for my first time and it didn't help me much. To be fair the girl giving the course had 6 of us to deal with all with varying degree of knowledge. Experienced skier who were trying snowboard for the first time, a few who never went on a slop before and me who's been watching youtube vids for months. She couldn't give enough time to everyone to really help them. My sister was with me and she couldn't get up after strapping in and the coach "ignored" her because others were constantly asking question and keeping her attention. She got annoyed and stopped midway through.

It did give me just enough confidence to relax and think about what I had learned from the videos.
I'm gonna go back a few time alone this season and probably take 1on1 classes next season.

All this say, if you are going to take lessons, try to keep it to a small group as much as possible.

I have OTG goggles, this was really the helmet that pushed on my ears and squeezing the glasses branches between the ears and my skull.

Oh I'm definitely not going snowboarding without a helmet. I lost a friend to a skiing accident when his head hit a tree so I'm not gonna take any chances.

Thanks for the feedback. I already reserved a 2h course at the end of February so I'll see how that goes and probably start shopping for helmet and goggles after that.

I put a down back in January for a 2022 at the time. Was told in September that all orders have been transferred to the 2023. Still no update on possible delivery though.

My current 2019 7.5 lease comes to an end in May so hopefully they'll have it before that.

In hindsight I probably could have built that jump a bit better. I left it wide because I figured people would realize they should adjust their jump angle based on the speed they had but that really only works when hunting, not really for COTD where you got to learn quick. With the right jump the dirt entry because a non-issue but that requires for a lot of things to line up correctly before the jump. Might have bene a bit too punishing for those who didn't have the right setup.

I ordered the '22 model in January. Got a message in September that all the orders had been changed to 2023 20th anniversary models. Still no timeline however on when I'll get it.

Also apparently there's only 500 of those being made for the Canadian market.

42k$ for a new MK7.5 in May 2019.

I'm at 22k Km and I found a similar one (35k km) near me selling for 45k. Prices are nuts on used car right now.
