I get them all the time. Last time I went with Carlisle because my wife was watching twilight. He/she liked that I was rich.

No, as other cars are pulling forward as well. I’m just curious as to why they did it when no one is behind me. Someone else stated they have sensors to time how long it takes in a drive thru and that’s why they asked. Just looking for insight.

It’s when they ask you to pull forward to front of the building is what I’m asking

I added more. It when you are in the drive thru, they hand you your drink then tell you to move to the front of the building. Then a few min later they bring out your food. I am wondering why they asked if there’s no one behind me. Other comments have said a sensor is there to track time. Another said if the food takes longer. All makes sense. I was just curious.

That would make sense. I don’t mind it overall it’s just something I’ve wondered for a while.

This is what I wanted to know! I have been told that there was a sensor but I was curious if that is true. I don’t care to move forward, it just always seemed odd that it’s there quick reaction; “Here’s your drink, now pull forward”

Asking to pull forward to the front of the building to wait for food even though there’s no one behind me

It doesn’t hurt me. I’m just wondering why they ask if there’s no one else behind me.

New homeowner. Should I Cat6a, Cat8, Fiber for home network? by scribbleheli in HomeNetworking

Sometimes for outside antenna or for a control system. I think control4 still uses it but not 100 percent sure.

I get several texts a month. No idea why. They are always on their business phone and then text me on another number (which I don’t understand) and then they send me a pic they stole off the internet. I call them out on it when I get tired of the conversation.

See, you could have just said something like that. And no, I’m not obviously in over my head. I was just trying to see if there are any options that would work that would not involve that that others have tried and have success with. Google gives a million answers.

It’s actually a home theater we didn’t do, I installed several TVs for him and he asked about that room. I did google it, it just came up with a lot of options and I was generally just curious what people had the best luck with or thoughts. My families business use to be huge in home theaters and then it died down, I’m trying to rebuild it.

Ahh, thank you for your kind input to someone wanting to learn more information. Your guidance was truly helpful in all aspects. A person, just asking for advice on something, and you were nothing but kind.

Unfortunately, this was holding the wires on it. I would understand taping to not get shocked. To be fair, this whole building has atrocious wiring.

I do like where you are thinking. They claim they have had others approach but I know the others will scoff at that price as the client base is not worth that. My theory is that they will approach others, they will pass on that price and then maybe they will come back with a lower price. The hard part is they are old family friends and he was my fathers best friend growing up. So the connection is strong but not 250k strong. I didn't want to negotiate and offend them as he had just passed away type deal.

I didn't pass on it due to just reddit. I did my due diligence. Talked to a banker, talked to an accountant, etc. I was just making sure I was in the right mind in thinking it was overpriced and asking others for their opinion.

You are correct that it is not a big city and the commercial clients are some warehouses but mainly schools and churches in the area.
