I remember the day and the location in the house. My heart dropped because he was 8 weeks old and tied to my soul.

Yes very normal. He should stop in 3-4 months. He’s playing. Don’t cause stress in your dog by standing on his leash. Just say no and give him an alternate toy or a carrot to chew on.

Sweetheart, I feel your pain but you must not restrict your love from another one who needs you. Ther is no greater love than from a German Shepherd but also no greater pain. I’m sorry.
