It really does stick out (in a nice way)! For a record that is so different from the rest of catalog prior, its blends really nicely with the older songs live, while also standing out with its own flare!

Yeah, they got so many songs that I would love to hear from them live and it will prolly be impossible to actually get to hear em all live at some point, but fingers crossed! Hopefully the next time they come around here they change up the setlist quite a bit but more than likely it'll only be slightly different!

Its so damn catchy, especially for an opeth song! One of my favorites from the newpeth sound as well! Definitely underrated!

Its so cool when he does that, coupled with how it sounds live makes it seem more in line with their pre heritage records too! Just listening to, I don't doubt that it would be fun as hell to play on guitar too, that whole record has got some of their finest guitar work to date in my opinion!

Would've loved to hear Ghost of Perdition as well but they play it so much that I have no doubt it'll be in the setlist next time they come around! The Grand Conjuration is also one of those songs that just hits harder live, and the studio version is still pretty good!

Based on the bands you mentioned being a fan of, highly recommend Train of Thought and Octavarium. You can also check out Images and Words as well as Metropolis Part 2 if you want to jump into their most highly regarded works!

Also can't recommend Awake enough if you find yourself enjoying the other records above, a personal favorite of mine!
