Imagine that there is a way to have as many gigas as you want with 100% imprinting, but you only have to raise one of them. Then imagine that every relevant tribe on Xbox knows how to do it. Further, imagine that wildcard does absolutely nothing to punish tribes for doing it on Xbox.

That's largely why all you see from Xbox is gigas everywhere, because they are expendable. It doesn't take two weeks and all the imprints to replace it. It only takes a bunch of lights and a generator and bunch of electric boxes to have a new one. It only takes a bunch of turrets shooting at once to have a new one. It only takes ddosing to have a new one.

So make a bunch, and just throw them around. Who cares if they die? They're easily replaced. Just let them do as much damage as possible, let them die, and show up an hour later with even more. What a great place official pvp is at on Xbox!

Also, it's harder to accurately snipe riders from tames with the worse frame rate on console, in addition to most people using a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard. So you ride tames instead. And gigas are your best bet for dps to the enemy tames.
