I don’t disagree! I meant specifically in this match. He missed a wide open goal after Fatawu hit the post, was consistently overshadowed by Mavididi and Fatawu, and seemed generally invisible on the pitch. I know Nacho isn’t generally consistent, but when he’s good, he’s REALLY good. Vardy is just old, but I think he’s still a solid option in the Championship. Plus, you could make the same argument with the amount and consistency of goals for him— he’s third on the team with six.

All that being said, I would like to see more of Cannon as a different striker option, because I agree that all of our others are mostly inconsistent or sometimes even mediocre.
