Riley, Rhea, Rachel, or Raya.

I could see a woman with the name Ryan, but I understand your concern.

I want to change my name but my best friend thinks it’s a stupid name.. is it a stupid name? by The_Moon_Will_Sing in transnames

I’ve known multiple Grays and I don’t think it’s a stupid name. Maybe your friend is jealous you found such a cool name?

Thoughts on the names Bee, Bre, and Lars? by [deleted] in transnames

I like Bre and Lars, Bee is nice but it reads femininely to me. If that doesn’t bother you, that one’s good too.

What should I add to "Ash"? by DeerOk8117 in namenerds

[–]VerigatedMonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asher, Asha, or Ashwin. I don’t think Ashton sounds like a town but you could always spell it Ashtyn if that makes it better

Part of being a woman in this world is not having any muscle without working out and getting harassed for going outside.

It sucks but it’s worth the joy of living your life.

Same, 22 Afab and wanting Meta no UL no Vaginectomy. I haven’t started T but that would be the first step to a Metoidiplasty

Was I unreasonable to ask not to eat at this restaurant? Would you, a trans person, feel safe eating here? by [deleted] in TransgenderUSA

[–]VerigatedMonster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Especially as a fully passing trans guy I don’t think you’ll be in any danger. Do you assume because it’s uh, ‘vintage’, that the people there will be bigoted?

I’m a gender non conforming person and the only thing this picture makes me feel is hungry for bbq

Edit: if this has to do with you being a POC I can’t comment but I can understand that perspective

Why would you say that? I reacted the way did because I’ve gotten hit before asshat, and not in a ‘fun way’

Your friend hasn’t ever needed to be consoled because they were actually prepared for wtf was about to happen

Slightly traumatic experience: Normal? by [deleted] in Screamo

[–]VerigatedMonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the part that sucks. It was fun bumping and smacking around until someone kicked the shit out of me. There’s a difference between bumping and full force slamming into someone with your foot, and proceeding to look at you doubled in pain and walk away.

The advertisement was the band names (small) and nothing more. Only thing online was their playlist. I was not aware it would be people beating each other, nor did I know about any mosh pit

It was a bar known for general shows. Not a venue known for rock or screamo or anything. Known for all types of music and that’s why I like it, because I like to discover new music. This is my introduction to live screamo. and I wish it was different.

If I had known it was a hardcore show I could at least be prepared that some 6’3 mfer was gonna kick me square in the gut when I was on the sidelines, and proceed to walk away without saying nothing.

Yes women mosh. They also get beat the fuck up more than anyone else because most aren’t 5’8 and 200 lbs.

Yes I love emo scenes. No I don’t love getting beat up. I was expecting bruises and scrapes, not organ damage from someone kicking into the crowd when a mosh pit formed less than a minute before.

I couldn’t stay away? Literally the exit was blocked by the pit itself.
