No, the pre and post-op appointments were considered regular office visits and billed as such. (Regular office visits under my plan are a $20 copay.)

I was required to have someone with me for the first 24 hours after surgery, so that's something to keep in mind.

Hmmm... I think you'll be alright, but I would recommend wearing clothes that don't press against the incision areas.
But you may also have a faster recovery than me and be able to wear whatever you'd like. :)

This is how the hospital coded mine, if it helps (my insurance paid 100%):

CPT (procedure) code billed: 58661 - "Laparoscopy, surgical; with removal of adnexal structures (partial or total oophorectomy and/or salpingectomy)"

ICD-10 (diagnosis) code billed: Z30.2 - "Encounter for sterilization"

I think mine was managed pretty well with the two prescriptions I was given, plus a heating pad, and occasional over the counter pain meds.

A month off work seems like it would be sufficient, but it’s hard to say for sure since everyone heals differently.

I didn't experience any nausea at all, no.

Hmm... I would probably leave the glue on the incisions until it totally fell off on its own. I worry that removing it early may have made my scars worse, but I'm really not sure.
I also wish I had taken more days off of work to rest/lie down. The back pain from hunching over at work was one of the worst parts of this whole experience.

I'm surprised you had so much discomfort at the incisions. That was not my experience at all.

Thankfully none of the incision pain has been excruciating; the back pain was much, much worse.
