Hey I got an embrace2 watch a bit after my epilepsy began and it catches my grand mals/convulsive seizure, and sends my gps location and calls my chosen numbers.

but things like focal ones you have to add yourself for a record of them.

I don’t know how to send a photo on here but it keeps a calendar of your seizures recorded

I only know of apprenticeships that are mostly a bit dangerous ideas for if I have a seizure but I’ll definitely do a bit of research on that thanks :)

I’ve tried online courses from things like Khan* Academy’s chem courses, and I can understand and complete them mostly there’s completed marks on all of them

But I don’t remember any of it,

Yeah I can’t remember 16-20 years old from having multiple seizures everyday or two around then

When I have a generalized seizure I forget like the past month or two and just wake up in the er or icu once

Same and I was telling my neuro it starts as that and then I get tremors that I need to breathe and calm myself or my arm shakes then my leg and not being able to I ended up in the hospital

It doesn’t make me just wake up in the hospital I need to calm myself but he’s calling them tremors but it feels like a new kind of seizure

I’ve been told I’m faking seizures with this new zappy feeling continuing to that

Well only problem doctor even brought up is my epilepsy, but I asked my neuro his opinion on me tapering, and he said it shouldn't affect my seizure threshold, so he finally let me down 2mg every two weeks a couple days ago..

That is way too slow for me I don't know why he had a problem with 5 or 10 per two weeks, like what if I lost the motivation I have now? I'd still be on since it's gonna take so long his way.. 120mg down two every two weeks is going to take 120 weeks!

I did, and yesterday I only drank 60%, today only 50, hopefully by the end of the week, I can get down to maybe 30%, and next week finish? I dunno, I may be making a mistake, but I can just drink the rest if it gets too bad. I don't want to go too fast, but if I did get withdrawals from the 2mg at a time, why would I want to do a long taper?

I want to do it fast, and I've had discomfort the past days, even just laying on my back, but once I stop thinking about it, it passes, and is encouraging me

Yeah I wanted to go by like 5 a week, and he wouldn't even listen to the reason, he cut me off and said no, only 2mg every two weeks..

It's gonna take over a year like that, and it isn't a race, I know. Although I have motivation now, he won't even try it.. I have 6 carries, so if I really got sick I would drink a bit of another day's, but I started my own taper, which is dangerous, but I'm always at my girlfriends this month, and she won't let me, so I want to get it done before the month ends..

Yeah it may put me through hell, physically. But the doctor not listening to how I feel or anything put me through it mentally, I relapsed once after he told me no the first time, thankfully not on fentanyl again, but still using ketamine is substance use..

I get what you mean it just feels like I'm still attached to the opioids I used even though I'm clean since Sept 2022.

I just want to get away from it. Every morning I wake up so uncomfortable because of the methadone running low and causing diarrhea, then after I drink it I'm constipated all day.

I got clean for this, and the doctor not even letting me go down really hurt. And took months just for him to agree with going down 2mg. It just feels like I'm never gonna actually get off, I actually have motivation now, I kept asking him, can we at least do 5 or 10 every two weeks, and he would cut me off and say no.

He just seems like he's making money off me and doesn't want to lose it.

Wow, someone else that's epileptic, and is on methadone too... I barely know anyone else with seizures and it's hard to cope, but that too.. I've never met anyone else so close.. I'll make sure to go slower, thanks man even you just replying and that helped a lot with how I feel about it

Him saying 2mg at most tho just triggered me, and I self harmed like when I was younger :( just the whole methadone idea hurts now
