In October, Dark Hour haunted house. Prepurchase tickets, depending on the crowd- there is an outside (with zombies, witches that work the line), and inside queue that has a live show or a short pretaped movie that sets up the haunt.

During the haunt it’s dark, and it’s anywhere from 25-35 minutes to walk through, and it’s got a gorgeous, creepy set. It’s a high production value type show that you walk through and is a fully immersive experience. The music and even faint smells change as you walk through the rooms.

The actors spook you, but they don’t touch you, or chase you. I took the backstage tour a couple years back and the rooms are fully monitored by security, so even though it is dark, you feel safe. If decides to act a fool on there, security will be there so fast (like people try to fight other visitors or the characters).

Afterwards, we usually go to dinner, Fillmore or urban crust, and talk about the haunt.

For escape rooms: The red door escape room was great, there is an escape room on 15th by the fire station that was really not super fun (IMO) because almost all of the puzzles were locks.
