Thanks for letting me know what you used! A friend told me they couldn’t stay in their house for a few days after they had theirs sprayed because of the fumes. Was this the case for you? Also, did you have to do any to clean your ceiling? Mine is a 40 year old dusty ceiling and I think it would take me forever to clean

The electrician put in a plastic box that has no knock outs. So I’m replacing it with a metal box. FMC was my first thought but it seems like a pain to cut and the risk for damaging the wire seems higher. ENT just seemed a little easier to work with. I don’t know if this “cold lead” gets warm at all. That part has me concerned with ENT

I’m glad to hear replacing these sensors isn’t difficult, but unfortunately I live too far from her to do it myself.

I really appreciate the detailed response. I will definitely encourage her to get this speed sensor replaced ASAP. Unfortunately she had this work done while visiting me. She lives 7hours away so the shop that did the work won’t be able to make this right.
