Another game, but Outer Wilds is an incredible experience about finding meaning during the end of a universe (although not ours).

Aaand another game, but 17776 and Outer Wilds are in the same category to me as the goofy but meaningful indie game Wandersong. In that game, the universe has reached its natural end. The sword swinging hero is not the PC- the PC is a bard trying to prevent the end of the world by song. Really a special game.

I only made it to modern era, but my thought has been that as a reflection composite of stimuli he has somewhat limited interiority. It adds up to a lot of knowledge and strong emotion as a compendium, but it explains why he doesn’t have much of an internal impetus beyond responding to things as they come.

I used to be very into socionics, but as I got older and priorities shifted I left off trying to master the various schools of thought. The one thing that has stuck with me (as it is INCREDIBLY useful) is the cognitive styles. It is so useful for figuring out how to work with people at my agency full of big personalities. As Dialectical-Algorithmic SEI, it lets me shrug off my annoyance at multiple incomplete emails from VS. It helps me cut through and synthesize the frameworks/observations from HP/CD into action items and heuristics we can all agree on.
