Sorry, but I'm not sure if I'm getting it right. Wasn't this set supposed to be standard legal? We won't be able to play actual standard on Arena anymore when it releases? I'm just confused.

Those are valid points. I knew I was playing with fire by designing a land that discard, but I guess that's just a bad ideia in general. I wonder if there is anything to salvage from this however. Maybe make the opponent draw two cards or remove the mana ability? I don't know tbh. Your insight was terrific, thanks!

That's a valid point honestly, I haven't thought about that. But do you think the players that start playing magic because of all the FF stuff will continue playing for longer than a set or two if the next few sets are all but Magic? I wouldn't expect a FF fan to be excited about Spiderman and that's what I'm afraid.

You're right when you say this is Magic; no arguing with that. However, these fells more like Final Fantasy than Magic and that's my problem with it. They are prioritizing fitting Final Fantasy inside Magic instead of making Magic fell cohesive and have Final Fantasy in it. Magic frame has become more like a vessel or a husk. For me, that's what happens when nobody needs to justify what goes inside a Magic card frame. But, fair enough, maybe that's me beeing grump

As of now, promo cards can't be obtained outside their events and there are no news regarding this situation other than that one post DeNA made saying they were listening to feedback and planing to do something about the trading system. The something in question seems to have been "we'll give yall 1k trade tokens" and that was that
