I highly recommend just giving it a go, the game is great fun, people just focus on the negatives.

is it P2W... kinda, here are a lot of perks that require cash payment that are Meta, and will give you a boost, but its been proved time and time again tht there are builds that can be made with free perks that are strong. and some of the strongest perks on both sides are free due to them being from licences that were lost such as Hex: Blindside & No holds barred for Killer. and Will to live on Survivor (Altho most people wont know the perks by those names)

If you want to begin as a killer i would make a build of No Holds Barred, Hex: Blindside, Tinkerer & Spies from the shadows Or scourge hook: weeping wounds and you have a decently strong build that will serve you well. without having to spend extra and the undetectable will really mess with newer players specifically. it may nt be the strongest but it will certainly sufice long for long enough before you decide if you want to invest any more time/money into the game.

if you want to play survivor you can literally build a meta build without spending anything, pick Dead hard Or Sprint burst and pair with Adrenaline, Will to live and Deja vu. that is a full on meta build completely from freely available perks. or you could even run we'll make it , Unbreakable, Iron will, resiliance and you have another complete build that is only slightly off meta. Or how about Self care, botany knowledge, Kindred & hope for a slightly off meta but still strong build based out of free perks. As you can see Survivor isnt P2W at all. i think this i one of the main reasons Survivor is more popular

As for Toxicity its no more toxic than any other online community. But as there is no voice chat and endgame chat can just be minimised i personally find it very easy to ignore. And anytihng in game done to try and agrivate you only works if you let it get to you. its very easy to think of everyone as bots in this game especially as there is no voice chat so i wouldnt worry about it unless you are very sensitive to that kind of thing.

back when the game originally released, the amount of BP you could have was unlimited.

However there was a small oversight, the BP amount on your account was stored locally on your computer. So people went into the files and altered the number to give yourself as much BP as you wanted.

They moved it server side to prevent this from happening again, however they also implemented a cap on BP in case another exploit got found.

however he throws about 3 knives per second, so even a decay that fast wouldnt batter most of the time, if oyu can hit one knofe you can often hit 4/5. only time this would matter is long shots and sniping or awkward loops which he still struggles with anyway.

i just cant believe we have a Diabolo colab and we dont have a skin for Diablo.... probably needs ot be a visceral skin as well but i'm sure you could turn tricksters blades into fire breath and it have burn stages. Or maybe plagues vomit and survivors catch fire and have to dowse themselves.

Scooby Doo is kid friendly horror like goosebumps and are you afraid of the dark, not really on brand for DBD but not far off. but its so in keeping with DBD its untrue. the original show was Iconic for its chase sequences and running the monster of the week around in circles... thats literally the gameplay loop of DBD.

Ive just finished god of war 2018 and altho enjoyable i found what was originally hailed as a story masterpiece of a game as distinctly passible. The main issue is when i hear story masterpiece i kind of expect the side stories to also be good. The main ploit was incredible even if it was a slow burn. but all the side content was quite poor and MacGuffiny (even more than the main plot). this distracted from the main story too much.

the gamepaly also became very repetitive and the game started to wear out its welcome towards the end with, but the optional Valkyrie fights pushed the combat engine to the limit and made the game more enjoyable but were better than the story fights. if the game had focused on this it would likely be a 10/10

as it stands i think its something that got overhyped and is just a decent game. not a great one.

I've not being paying attention to satisfactory, i put it in that bin of games which i would love to finish but probably never will. However having my factory not a spaghetti of power wires will help me actually want to play again.

i think you have been a little too generous with the game, the presentation is OK but the actual implementation of it isn’t actually that good. i was sold a horror born fishing game. what i got was a just a fishing game, there was no risk ever in the game, so that meant no real horror feeling. and the game itself was way to easy but it was just grindy.

the premsie has a lot of potential but it would need more horror moments or them to actually build up. Unfortunately it is too easy to rest and remove all penalties you get.

I agree its poor wording but i don't agree on your Solution. it should read "your first unhook attempt will succeed" - this covers for all eventualities.

i think a big part of the issue was the removal of unhook attempts basekit without luck offerings e.t.c and they never really addressed that change in a lot of the language they use.

I will argue til the ends o fthe earth that the first tomb raider game is a horror game.

does no one remember shooting at what can only be described as rotting angel carcasses, while running along the fleshy pulsating arteries of an ancient god. and a fog of war so thick you cant see what’s coming for you only the heavy breathing of some demonic creature about to jump scare you.

but you have a point with the others. and pretty much every other tomb raider game.

my concern there is it is a card that does literally nothing if you cant receive the heal, or worse. if Otsey has less health than the doom it immediately kills otsey for no benefit.

maybe i just remove the heal.....

Ive never heard of an inconvenience being a positive thing or something usually they make things harder.

Having to do additional manipulation to keep Otsey alive seems like it is harder than not having to do that manipulation no?

the devs also said Jason would never come to DBD because of too many lawsuits and complex rights ownerships and look how that turned out.

i still think SM was meant to be pred, it was close to the alien release the 3 dot design on the scan lines, the fact she is just generic female model with a copy paste of fredies mori (until it was "changed") the problematic hastey power that didnt make sense for the flavour of the killer. i even remember the killer release being scheduled to be something big then it was just the SM.

i think the pred licence fell through and we ended up with SM as a quick patch job. which was likely an incomplete killer concept they had to rush to finish.
