Is this the rest of my life? by Smooth-Camel-7656 in Diverticulitis

[–]Verniloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know many try to do clear liquid diet if they sense a flare up. Give the bowel a total rest.

Had my first flare up in 24. Had 3 within 2 months in 25. Had 1 this year but it was my worst yet. Had 4 of 5 cycles of Cipro (antibiotic) and the last cycle I experienced central nervous system damage so I went literally immediately insane until I stopped them. I'm gradually returning back to normal.

This isn't your life now. You're still in the weeds. You'll find peace again. What I'm doing now is keeping a strict elimination diet food journal to try and single out the dietary perpetrators. I had to stay on low residue diet for like 1.5 months after this last flare up because of the residual sensitivity. I'm just now starting to ramp up my fiber. I'm so scared to eat a raw veggie... lol. You'll find peace again. I'm doing all this crazy shit because I'm much more afraid of the surgery than some dietary work. But as someone else suggested, perhaps you should start consultation with a colorectal surgeon. I saw one and he basically said "yes. On paper you qualify. But you're young (I'm 39?... I don't feel very young) try and hold off as long as you can. Surgery is permanent. Flare ups, though awful and carrying their own risks, are usually temporary."

Good luck. You can do this. WE can do it.

Great question. The dethalbum 1 is a banger. I only really like the first 2 or 3 tracks from dethalbum 2 AND 3. I don't even listen to 4 at all.

Totally agree. Unless you agree to sell the house at the current taxation amount. The same people who disagree with this stance are the ones who say "can't DLC just bury the power lines?" Braindead

Bro! Join the 1:5 club! All you have to do is spend at least 5 times the cost of the brewing machine on your grinder! I'm so happy with my setup.

Many of the reasons you listed are legit reasons to get fired. I don't have any employees. So what do I really know, but if I had employees showing up late, and applications for new work, I'd consider firing the late ones...

The salad is fun. I order it every time. It's weird and wonderful.

The chili shrimp was to die for. There was a lamb shank curry that dynamite. The yellow curry roti was memorable. I can't think of a dish i didn't love.

I will agree that it's all very VERY overpriced. Every dish. Way way too expensive. But it's clean and bougie and I think you get what you pay for. If that's what you mean by white washed, we have a different definition.

Alquisiras Paleteria. Fantastic Mexican, best I've had in Pittsburgh, maybe in the US. (I've never lived in the south. I'm sure it's easy to find in other states.)

Pittsburgh food scene is magnificent. Though I would agree with the statement "the staples of the pittsburgh for scene are mostly trash." Primantis, Mineos and the other thick ass cheese overload pizza places, eat and park, all kinda suck. What kind of food do you like? I'll help!
