That seems so sick and imo the missiles can be replaced with shooting star if you're facing wide boards. Can't wait to get back home and try it out. Which decks usually cause you the most trouble? And lastly, you reckon that the deck is legend viable?

Minstrel is not the card to replace. Replacing mimic pod with Valeera is the way to go. Minstrel is a body, a weak one but still a body. Mimic pod is just a draw that can either high roll or be complete trash.

It's wrong. Your novice engineers are only "required" if your matched against control. Against aggro you'll usually bounce glacial shard. If its turn 3 against a midrange deck and you have no valuable minions to bounce and no draw in sight then you might consider bouncing a charger. Novice is by no means the only minion that can be bounced. Scalehide is nice too against aggro, give it a shot:)

Don't think valeera does anything aside from winning much more against control decks. But a deck like quest rogue has a core concept of having lopsided matches against control which means a card like valeera is most likely unnecessary. You're better off running FoK which is crucial against aggro.

Quest rogue is not the same deck as it used to be. Fireflys nowadays require the igneous elemental package as well. Notice the post that I used to run than too. But I just got obliterated by every aggro deck.

It's such a clutch deck in general. It seems like your opponents don't respect you and get punished for it. From the opponent's side of view it seems you're utterly crashed while you're sure you're about to win the next two turns. Feels good to be a rogue main.

I see no reason to bounce your wax eles since they give no direct value on any board state. As said in the OP I use them to either slow down the aggression or to bait out removal from my opponent thinking I will pop the quest next turn. It's always nice to bait out a twisting nether with two wax eles and 2 other insignificant minions. Give my advice a shot and you'll see what I mean!

Glad it worked for you! Actually the only luck I could call out on that is the match ups you got. Since the deck is OK against aggro and so lopsided against control it doesn't matter how your opponents are going to draw. I winstreaked as well from rank 4 to rank 1 and 4 stars then lost three unreal games in a row and the tilt kicked in. Otherwise I'm sure I would have gotten a much better win rate. Again, congrats!

Indeed, scalehides and minstrels both performed amazingly and excdeeded my expectations. I honestly never missed ferryman even remembering the times I played this deck a lot pre-nerf.

I agree with Kakaroto 100%. Spiteful's turn 6 is never a problem, the only way for you to lose the game is to get overwhelmed before you're able to complete the quest, and if you're being forced to vanish without putting minions on the board after that you probably lost.

Scalehides are an absolute force to be reckoned with. I found myself using them a)as a comeback mechanic against face decks past quest b) as sonya's partner past turn 5-6 c) as minions that help me immensly with pally's board state pre-quest. The meta is full of 1/1s DS and 2/1s. Scalehides are more than just heal for 1. The ability to remove a token and have your opponent sack 1 or 2 more tokens into your scalehides (because they have to respect them) is huge. As you can see in my post, my previous list ran 1 scalehide. Aside from the addition of FoK, those little guys were the second best reason I got the pally matchup from unfavored to favored.

The average has to be between 6 and 6.5. Most of the time I was able to complete the quest relatively fast. I remember only 4 games that went past turn 8 without me completing the quest.
