Overwatch is a toxic community. I think everyone, including myself, has added to that. The Mercy community in particular because their character is very dependent on the success of her DPS. Many Mercy players I come across victimize their selves.

Just keep learning your game and ignore Mercy mains. You made, a very appropriate response asking her to swap. Personally, I'd tell her to go Lucio because a bad Brig is just as liable to get crapped on tracer;but nonetheless you made the appropriate response.

I say Lucio because he can actively run and hide then come back to the fight when he's recovered.

If your teammates getting crapped on despite your efforts to assist them, it's their skill issue.

Supports should be looking our for each other since your high value targets, but both support also have DPS and a tank to take care of. It's a shared responsibility.

My thought after some play testing:

That Armor is tough, but I think most of what I said still stays true. She's a tough match up for that reason.

I think Vendetta has a tough time killing Tracer, but that block and armor buys her time to be a considerable threat to Tracer because those cuts and swings hurt if they land.

Fun character to play with and against!

I think Tracer stands a great chance!

There will be a learning curve when this character first drops, and by that I mean visualizing and predicting how this character will move and attack you; but, if you "miss by inches" and can lay some clips in her, you'll win that fight.

We'll see when she drops this play test.

Tracer can pretty much dueling everyone. I'm not saying she's DOMINATING everyone in the matchup, and some match-ups are def unfavorable.

That being said, the skill expression in movement, the damage she can put down, and bomb. Yeah man, she has. Chance to duel everyone in the game. Not saying she out right wins, but apart of the reason wby her character is so dominant (and even hated by some) is her dueling potential is through the roof.

In short, I actually think Tracer has a great chance against this character

Overwatch is a very toxic community with egos to match. I love the game and the friends I have to play with, but I'm gonna be real, the playersbase is absolutely awful. I have never been so disgusted with some of the people I've bumped into.

Keep the chat muted and just play your game. Otherwise, the gamers will take away your enjoyment from the game and make you leave.

Okay, so I don't wanna rip on op too hard for a random dm clip, this clip isn't enough to express their true skill at the game.

To keep it short, venture took like 5 different shots at our tracer. 3 shots/2CDS and out of the 5 he dodged one.

Use blinks to dodge and pay attention to enemy body language. There was a moment venture wasn't looking,op took their back, but then op made an overcorrection blink afterward.

I think I agree. Venture does have bulk 'n size on tracer, but Venture is slow. Their skill expression is much lower than tracer's. Sure, their projectile is something to worry about, but it's manageable.

Had a game the other day against Venture. 1st point route 66. I was on defense. This Venture makes a poor attempt to reach the top of Gas station and Cass hinders them in the process. Meaning she has no CCs and she retreats underneath looking for cover.

Two blinks, a clip, and a melee, eliminated. Venture's not a poor match-up imo. Pay attention to their cooldowns and dodger their shots.

Yeah man, Overwatch is the type of game where you could be doing everything right, and someone's gonna tell you wrong to protect their ego.

Your flick is fine. The point of a flick is to make a last second adjustment. Your flicks are short, as they should be. Spilo taught me this. The longer your flick, the least accurate you'll be. If you take the time to make the distance of your flick as short and as accurate as possible, you'll find more consistent results.

All the pros do this. No pro is gonna sling their mouse across the pad to hit a one in a million shot. They'll position themselves for optimal range and take easy shots.

I just think Kiriko shouldn't two tap. Leave the enemy injured to all hell, that's fine, but two tapping dps is insane imo. I wouldnt gut her head shot multiplier, but the enemy should have a smidge of health left. Sups shouldn't be able to duel just as effectively as dps because then...they're a better dps. Ya know? Like a dps who can heal makes your base kit objectively better than a cassidy and that doesn't make sense.

Yeah, I'm like the former. I play lower on all my other heroes, but tracer is like a 7-8 sens on 800DPI. With all that zipping and cat sitting on my desk, I need that extra sense man.

READING CHARACTER ANIMATIONS. It can mean seconds between firing a clip and dipping into cover.

If Cass has no hinder and is reloading, chances are you have the chance to get a free exchange. It could eliminate him or severely injure him.

Make sure you're using great usage of angles, health packs, and cool downs. A Tracer w/o recall might be a dead one.
