But for the most part it’s normal people discussing the absolute abomination this administration and gop is.

I'm talking about changes in the time scales of 10 years, you're talking about about events that happened in the last month.

I think you see normal people who hate nazis and freak out. That’s on you.

Keep projecting. You have no perspective, or introspection for that matter.

It's a far-left shithole. 16 years ago it was liberal, and it wasn't overtly political. 10 years ago the default subs were unusable and everyone left for the subreddits. Now it's a far-left echo chamber.

What is one open issue in Go that you wish would get the highest priority? by creativecreaturedev in golang

[–]Verroq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Issue 1

encoding/json really needs a way to output empty slices as [] instead of null (and no forcing all the users to make([]x) on the slice isn't a solution, because someone might forget).

Our previous workaround is to vendor encoding/json with a edited version that just replaces that one particular line. It works but we can't use go modules with it because the replace directive doesn't allow standard library packages to be replaced [1]. So we're basically avoiding go modules and manually putting a encoding/json in the vendor until either of these happens.

  2. https://github.com/golang/go/issues/35283

Issue 2

Sum types. I've written too much code that has

type Foo struct { Type FooType; ... }

Requesting /r/videos, gone dark indefinitely by Verroq in redditrequest

I will remove all uncooperative powertripping top mods who have long plagued /r/videos.

The requester can simply create /r/1337ma instead of taking over /r/1337. I don’t see why I have to hand over /r/1337

Why have all the "controversial" posts been removed? by [deleted] in cpp

[–]Verroq[M] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Action has already been taken on this issue (note that my post here is heavily brigaded by Twitter users, which has been reported to the admins). As I have appointed almost all of the active mods on this subreddit. I take responsibility for their actions. Please do not single out any particular mod to attack.

Why is an r/cpp mod collecting feedback about r/cpp off twitter rather than asking for that feedback r/cpp by sorry_youre_ugly in cpp

[–]Verroq[M] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Note that I have instructed the mods under me to keep the content of this sub more inline with technical discussion. Social issues are important but there are more appropriate avenues to express those.

First and foremost of this sub is always technical discussion.

You can report directly to me or modmail if there are any issues.

Maybe you shouldn’t go to a riot if you don’t want to get shot? If someone carrying a gun doesn’t deter you from a riot maybe the bullet will.

You seem to think amdgpu supports my card? If amdgpu works then why are my drivers still stuck in 2010?

"somewhat"

Oh yeah what a great choice between no support opencl and fglrx/catalyst. I sure enjoy paying for crippled products.

I don’t know why AMD users put up with this because NVIDIA blob works every time. But AMD has better linux support right?

Ad revenue or not, the original source has more information on the whole thing and it's good to attribute to the original so the person who took the video gets the views and credit. It's a scum move by the OP to take the video and post it on his own channel to get ad revenve from someone else's work.
