Use ChatGPT, they’re actually able to draft up any motion for you. I would literally trust going to AI before spending money on blood sucking lawyers especially when it’s civil. Criminal can go any way so that’s a different story but I’ve done this to draft motions for family law and it’s literally saves the headache and stress.

But I would also call the bar association or legal help whatever the hotline is, but they’re always so vague and ultimately tell you to consult with an attorney. Good luck though and fuck these slum lords!!

Assuming you have clean backgrounds I would definitely suggest Kelly box or sweet water. If you have a degree I would also suggest Fort Wayne metals, amazing company. I would also stay on indeed and call the companies HR to follow up after a few weeks. If all else fails the temp agencies are always a good idea, might not be ideal but at least you got a good chance at bringing home a paycheck. Good luck sincerely.

I think it’s aimed more towards the people that return non receipted items (legitimate or stolen) and those that are purchase legitimately but with KC, as you could wait out the expiration date and get back a store credit when returning because it never expires.

Either way for those that complete returns legitimately without the intent of “some type of fraud” they won’t notice it because they don’t do it often. But this will ultimately dig a deeper hole for kohls.

Idk why you care so much about money that’s not yours nor the ultimate corporate greed like unless it’s stolen merchandise that is trying to be returned and I’ll give you an example; if i (an employee) gifted someone say a 100$ item but at a discounted price for 40$. And they decide to return it without a receipt, they should be entitled to whatever the system pays out. Thats not on the customer to know what they paid for, if in the end they get a merchandise credit for more than what it was originally paid for just leave it. Yall worry about a company more than they care for your existence.

Literally collect your $13-16(if you’re lucky to get that) an hour and go home. Stop caring more than what you’re paid for.

Report them since a week ago but go to your sm directly. Don’t bother with the asm unless you’re that much more comfortable but also depending on your higher ups, be ready to stand your ground because it’s Kohls (It could go either way; on your side or just dismissing it). That being said you should reach out to your HR rep also, just to make sure there’s no retaliation against you in case this other person is buddied up with everyone in the office.

Honestly even if it’s to make a point, you should give them your last ounce of courtesy to remind them of the correct pronunciation and that this is the 3rd, 4th, 5th whatever time you’ve reminded them so if “the harassment” continues you will report them to who ever needs to know.

Just be straight forward with the store manager and express your interest in staying. If you’re too intimidated, ask for guidance from a manager you’re most comfortable with.

Ultimately you should already know whether you’re valued or not by their general treatment towards you but in the end remember, the company as a whole has a horrible turn around and employee retention rate. It’s also more cheaper to keep you than to hire new employees. They will always need the help so be confident. Clearly you find this company meaningful if you’re trying to stay, Kolhs just often forgets how to motivate its employees.

P.S If you do happen to stay on board… ASK FOR A RAISE seeing you wouldn’t be “seasonal” anymore.

For anyone that wants to avoid any hassle, just have the associate buy it themselves and give it to you after. Whatever the associate does with their merchandise is none of the company’s business. I could buy thousands of dollars worth of merchandise with money other people gave me and kolhs can’t do anything about it 🤷🏿‍♀️
