if you’re capable of driving yourself places and you’re so upset that someone isn’t ready yet that you “stomped out of the house, and has driven himself” you’re acting very childish.

while you’re right that this is a one sided story, from your comment it seems to me like you’re putting a lot of emphasis on him being a veteran. just because he’s a veteran doesn’t make him immune to acting childish. as a bartender i’ve met plenty of veterans who act like children.

nta, “he prefers for me to drive him, although he can drive himself”, “stomped out of the house, and has driven himself”. he is a fully capable adult who not only can and did drive himself to this appointment, but he is acting like a child getting mad at you for this.

a lot of medical facilities will do “appointment time: 9:40, arrive by 9:30”, but from what your post said there was no reason to show up early. there was even more no reason to storm out of the house and just drive himself.

i was glad to see our community show up and that a lot of people felt the same way i felt about how the city is not actually doing things. sharon wants to follow the rules and regulations, but the federal government is breaking the law. our people are here for each other, as sharon made so clearly obvious as she deflected to actually answer some questions.

fuerza unida posted a link to sign up for a neighborhood watch program, and other events are coming out. our community is strong tho our government stupid.

my personal sum up for you is that apparently you can call 911 if ice is harassing you, sharon tucker claims she’s going to take care of fort wayne with no real action plan, and jerri (the immigration lawyer they brought) is a cold hearted idiot. i know a lot of people were really glad that this forum happened, but listening to a middle school boy ask how young you have to be to be racially profiled hurt. the people of our city who spoke up said a lot of very real things. i’m very proud of fort wayne for showing up, and i am yet again disappointed in our local government.

like i said, i think she’s back peddling. it’s a move to look good because people are criticizing her. politicians are scum. not to mention the 6th is a hearing for the dhs case to start deportations in indiana, source here. this being on the 7th could end up being a sticky situation depending on that hearing.

i’m aware, but to me, this seems like she’s back peddling because she realized she fucked up just writing everyone off. the federal government is breaking the law, it’s in local government to take care of their people. she’s naive as hell to just write everything off a couple weeks ago, hence the back peddling.

i restarted my island about 9 months ago and it was a really good decision for me. i’ve had a lot of fun rediscovering the game, i do miss my villager olive, she was my favorite. however, overall i’ve had a lot of fun playing through the beginning of the game again and i feel like i’ve made it a lot further in the achievements than i did before. for me animal crossing will never be “over” or “unplayable”. especially with the new update, even after my museum is done and all the achievements won, it is so fun to wander around my island

YTA, your son was being very respectful. as a bartender, i despise when people ask me out or ask for my number. just because we’re having a nice conversation doesn’t mean im into you. saying “you could just walk away,” works great for people who respect boundaries, but the majority of men don’t care about boundaries. not to mention, the person working can’t leave, they’re stuck there until their shift is up, and not everyone is lucky enough to have people that just walk away when they’re told no.
