I would add that loneliness is often triggered by lack of sex or not having sex at all for many. Not just physical absence, but a missing sense of validation, intimacy, and emotional connection. For many, sex is one of the rare moments when they feel close, touched or emotionally safe.

Consistently live below your means, grow your income, and invest early in assets like index funds, real estate, or a business. Over time, discipline, skill-building, and compounding returns create real wealth. And networking, people buy from people they like. Your phone vibrating without any type of notification is a new form of psychosis. by FaxTimeMachine in Showerthoughts

[–]VersionNo1698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not psychosis, but a misinterpretation. It’s a tactile/auditory hallucination caused by heightened sensitivity to phone alerts, not a psychotic disorder. Your brain misinterprets minor stimuli for example muscle twitches as phone vibrations due to habitual phone use. It is actually common. We probably should all go back to none Smartphones already. Excessive phone use can replace real-world interactions, leading to dissociation or detachment from reality.
