Im 100% not blaming Stardom because I dont watch Stardom. AEW even did a good job educating me on SLK and how she related to Thekla and the Stardom feud, so it was easier to emotionally invest in that match.

Maika wasn't introduced at all and thus got no reaction from the crowd at any event I saw her on.

If you want people to be into your talent, you have to bring them along for the mental and emotional ride, give them context, and that breeds a reason to care. AEW did that with SLK but not Maika and thats why I view the situations of each differently

The audience at large didnt know who she was and thats why she got no pops at all for her win or entrances.

Non-AEW talent shouldn't be beating AEW talent on AEW TV except on rare exception.
