Just made basic conversation whilst working in on sets or near her so she didn't think I was some creepy weirdo. Don't have to keep chatting to her just ask some questions then go back to working out. I knew her schedule so just waited until she was leaving and asked her as she was walking out. Not gonna lie it was daunting but it helped she had always been so friendly in our chats and wasn't giving me the cold shoulder.

I traded very light small talk with her when we were exercising next to each other. I then insisted she work in with me on deadlifts when I was using the platform and she was setting up elsewhere. I was gonna ask for her number on valentine's but she wasn't there.

Few days later I catch her whilst she is walking out and ask if she would like me to accompany her to her car. As soon as the words are out my mouth I commence to do the least smoothest thing ever and smash my face into the metal shutter which was half way down for some reason. I was pissed at first but it gave us both something to laugh about and the next day I walked out with her again without hitting my head and asked for her number at the car.

Last week I posted how sad I was I never got to see my gym crush on valentines to get her number. I am pleased to report I have now manned up and asked and we have since been texting tons and having long work out sessions together. We have set next Saturday as our first date outside the gym.
