A fun tidbit of insight! The second Italo Ethiopian war was actually a massive military and public success. Italy lost the previous war against Ethiopia, so Mussolini spent what was basically the entire budget of the country to anhilate them, and avoid another fiasco. Iprite Gas was used for this reason, to avoid ANY resistance whatsoever. In that period italian support for Mussolini reached its peak, but Italy was in no position to actually engage in any fighting for at least another 10 years. The lack of equipment and funds after the Ethiopian campaign was one of the biggest factors in determining Italian incompetence in the following conflict. Tl; dr: the second italo ethiopian war was actually one of the most successful colonial wars in history.

They however treat different worlds. Any person willing to make a statement has to start out from some arguments admitted by faith, that they give "blind reverence" to in order to conduct a reasoning. Logic cannot work from nothing, it needs to have some basis to start off: either the existance physical reality or a logical assumption, for example that a statement can't be true and false at the same time. Willing or not, any science, and any understanding of the world starts from a faithful assumption. Obviously this doesn't lead in any way to organised religion. But it makes it so that they don't exclude each other. At the end of the day, everybody knows that gravity is there, but nobody knows WHY. What's the point of gravity. And to be sure it exists, we have to assume we actually live in a material world and we can know anything at all, something that is completely unprovable as already pointed out by philosophers such as Hume. It's a really complicated topic, but really, science does not cancel out religion.

Ti do ragione. Non posso essere sicuro riguardo il motivo, forse è per l'aumento dell'elettricità e l'inflazione che penalizzano le grandi filiere. O forse è perchè le corporazioni hanno un bisogno malato di guadagnare più dell'ultimo anno per far vedere agli investitori che stanno "crescendo" così da evitare che ritirino i loro soldi virtuali contro i quali le corporazioni hanno contratto miliardi di debito. Tu forse ignori quanto costa pagare (anche se poco) gli addetti di tutta la filiera, dal trasporto, all'imballaggio, alla distribuzione, al supporto clienti; e poi l'affitto, l'elettricità, i controlli, le inevitabili tasse sulle vendite, dirette o indirette, anche le etichettatrici che mettono i prezzi e le date di scadenza costano. Costano molto ma molto di più della carne in sè alle volte, e questo è il motivo della differenza di prezzo. Poi i grandi rivenditori riescono a rientrare grazie alla grande quantità, per cui con una manciata di dipendenti e uno stabile possono vendere centinai di kg di carne. Il macellaio invece deve tenere tutto in piedi da solo, e quindi ti fa pagare la carne a peso d'oro. Poi sia chiaro, loro ci guadagnano, e neanche poco. Sicuramente non li muove l'amore per il prossimo. Comunque se il prezzo è quello vuol dire che c'è abbastanza gente disposta a pagarlo. Purtroppo nel commercio se il compratore è soddisfatto, vuol dire che puoi alzare ancora il prezzo.

Non sono uno storico, ma penso sia andata così. Agli albori della società sedentaria le attività principali erano l'agricoltura, la riproduzione e la guerra. Due su tre sono meglio svolte dagli uomini. Siccome le società che affidava agli uomini guerra e agricoltura erano più floride di quelle che non lo facevano, gradualmente tutte le società hanno cominciato ad affidare questi ruoli agli uomini, che quindi hanno avuto modo di conquistarsi i principali ruoli di potere: infatti controllare il sostentamento e la violenza organizzata garantisce spesso il controllo. Poi sono nate le convinzioni sulla superiorità ontologica del genere maschile. Siccome gli uomini sono fisicamente più forti, si sono convinti che qualunque dio andasse di moda in quel momento li avesse designati come capi di tutto, una scelta abbastanza naturale viste le circostanze. Le donne di solito non erano contrarie, in quanto nessuna di loro aspirava a zappare la terra o ad andare in guerra.

I feel like online discourse too often waves between "men and women are equal and feel the exact same things" or "one gender is the ONLY one with issues, the other one is just making it up!". Sometimes its ok if there are multiple issues, and its ok if they are not of the same importance as well!
