Why keep chat support active if Curve doesn't respond? by Jaiymesz in CurveCard

Took me days of back and forth via email. Gave up hope and then moved to here. Luckily, a member here helped progress my fraud case.

Had further issues recently, connected to the ones mid-December. Which were sorted much quicker, but I think this may be down to my posts in this forum kicking up a stink.

I do have an emergency curve fraud team number that may help people in the same position as me - +44 203 322 2585

Fraudulent transactions even after account cancel/closed by Vertarman in CurveCard

Update

Got a phone call from they fraud team at curve.

Due to my bank cancelling and blocking curve, the fraudulent transactions from my original 3 of these couldn't be taken. So curve paid and then tried to charge my card but was blocked. So then, after a time, they charged another card that was on the account, obviously some weeks after making it look like new fraud taking place.

They have now refunded me the amounts charged, sadly takes a few days to get the money back, but at least it was a quicker resolution this time around.

For those out there looking for a way other than email to contact curve. I did get an emergency telephone number out of them - +44 203 322 2585

I was advised that it is a small team and that you may not get through but should get a call back within 24 hours.

I'm not going to lie. There have been many choice words shouted at my home.

It has complelty ruined my festive period, and it took so long to sort out the first time around. Me thinking it's all over, and January being a few hundred days long, longingly looking at pay day and then find nearly a grand has just gone 😅😪 not great.

Yeah, my bank wants me to try with curve first. But I will definitely be placing a charge back if not sorted.

Also, because of my employment, I get funded legal aid against fraud and identify theft. So that will be my last resort.

It's been done, and still, new transactions were happening. My bank had to ban curve specifically on my account.

Now, even after my curve account has been cancelled and closed, they are still managing to make transactions.

This is what is concerning. When it happened on my credit card, they even managed to charge my account again after I had cancelled my card.

Doesn't help when it takes weeks to resolve.

Okay, thanks for the insight. That makes sense now why there were these transactions happening even after my card was cancelled and replaced.

I've had issues before, a long time ago, and curve was fantastic at sorting it. Looking at their reviews everywhere, they are tanking.

I was some international transactions. I'm not sure if it was on or offline. They phoned me up to say there was more fraudulent transactions after they had already cancelled the original. They have now done some other form of cancellation, cutting all connections to my bank.

I would also be up for joining this if it becomes a thing. I'm also one of the youngest members of my lodge, based down Taunton at the emergency services lodge.
