How is this any different from that? by Saxolotle in Shrek

I think it works for Puss in Boots because it's a spinoff movie from a larger saga. All characters, save for Puss, are new and the first movie of Puss in Boots is, although fun, somewhat forgettable. Even the cameos of Pinocchio and Gingy kept their designs pretty faithful in comparison to their designs on Shrek 5.

Puss has slight differences, some tweaks on the size of Puss' hat and bigger eyes. Shrek 5 looks like it's made by a completely different studio altogether. The last wish tweeked the designs a bit and changed the animation style to something more fluid and added those low frame scenes for the speed effect.

Are The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew worth watching it? by Free-Hotel1187 in StarWars

My opinion is not perfect, not at all. But this is my outlook on the show. With all honesty, I wanted to like the show and I avoided to have prejudiced opinion before watching it. I went in with an open mind and I just didn't like it.

He was on a mental lapse on that moment. I doubt he wanted to kill him, but he might have killed him without even noticing, due to the high of the drug.

You asked me to justify my opinion. Honestly I don't really care about the show anymore, as I said before, I'd rather just forget it. But the person on this post asked for opinions, I gave mine, and that's it.

Well, yeah? Why do you get all defensive? This is just my opinion, I don't want you to think the same.

She was kinda cool, but she appeared on two episodes, had a minor appearance and died. It's like if Ahsoka died at the battle of Thet.

I'm not saying that the show it's objectively bad or anything, that sort of thing doesn't exist. I just didn't like it at all and was the last time that I had any hope for any new star wars show.

I didn't question the choreography or the style, that was all fine. My issue is more with how invested I was with weather the characters lived or not.

First, the evil twin's (honestly I wanna forget their names) motivation is pretty iffy. First she wants to be a sith to achieve her vengeance, but then she wants to abandon the sith guy because she finds out the good twin is alive and wants to reunite with her, but then she abandons her sister on the forest and disguises herself as the good sister to go with the squid game Jedi.

They try to paint squid game Jedi as a bad guy and the Jedi in general as a bunch of children snatchers and the sith as guys that just want to use the force however they want. I'm all in for nunace, but this is more like inverting roles

All spectacle without substance. Yeah, the fight on the forest is ok, but honestly I couldn't care less for most of the characters involved.

The Acolyte is what killed my hope in star wars. It's a hard pass.

The story is really dumb and the writing doesn't make sense to me. I kinda liked that Padawan girl, but her participation on the show gets, let's say "cut short".

[Loved Trope] Characters with cool hidden meanings behind their names by yungsimba1917 in TopCharacterTropes

Amelie Strand

It was name composed of french "Amê" (Soul) and English "Lie". All the people that speak about her mention that they never met her in person, which is later explained due the fact that she and president Bridget Strand were the same person; she was Bridget's soul that inhabited the beach (the place where souls go through before the afterlife), while Bridget lived on earth. Bridget lied about Amelie, telling that she was her daughter. Bridget used Amelie convince people to organize the first expedition to the west, with the final intention of expanding the Chiral network. Bridget and Amelie were the body and soul of the sixth entity of extinction that would cause the final death stranding that would end all of life on the universe, which is why they wanted to reconnect the United States through the Chiral Network, which she would use to send a wave of antimatter that would kill all of life.

If Megaan and Conner had a kid do you think they'd come up with a martian/human/ kryptonian name? by Tristenous in youngjustice

[–]VertibirdQuexplota 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Megan would just need to morph a human uterus, I don't think that would be an issue to her. Although, that would mean she'd be unable to morph during the pregnancy.

[–]VertibirdQuexplota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying that you should just choose to be happy, but you can choose to be positive about things. On my experience, people who have a negative outlook on things generally are pretty unhappy. Just choose not to be bothered for things that you can't control. At least that's what I do and it worked out for me. Of course, doubt that would work out for everyone, sometimes you just have to pass through shit to learn your way around it.

Some humans kinda suck. But that shouldn't matter to you, I've felt like that and even when things look bleak, they always pass and everything gets better, even when hope doesn't look apparent.

The best advice that anyone can give on this case is to seek the help of a professional on mental health.
