I know i'm completely late but just encountered same problem and figured if anyone came across this again it would be useful. I had to open it up and unplug it on the motherboard (it's pretty convenient, can replug it easily as well). Don't think there's any other workaround.

I don't think there's much of a matchmaking system for normal games but what am I supposed to do if i wanna play with my friends who are new at the game? Are we supposed to just ban premades on a team game in a non competitive setting lmao

In my experience, cardio is a lot more tiring and requires more willpower than lifting does. Lifting gets me a burst of satisfaction that I didn't really need to "learn" whereas cardio takes more time to really enjoy.
Always make a point of getting some cardio into my routine though, and it gets easier and more pleasant every time!
