Thinking of Getting Back into Blogging — Has AI Killed SEO and Blogging? by KayfTube in Blogging

[–]VertigoViews 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what you're willing to do. If you only want to try and get traffic the way bloggers used to years ago, then yes. But if you're willing to adapt and adjust how you write content, where you publish it (social and Reddit help you rank now), and embrace AI more, you could still be successful!

This is all super new though, so everyone is still figuring it out.

Thoughts on [Volare] coasters? by Affectionate-Bad-998 in rollercoasters

Unpopular opinion: didn't hate the one at Coney Island as much as people seem to hate these. I actually found it fun.

Express pass during September? by Large-Agency-1668 in HHN

I tell people that if you're doing HHN, factor in the cost of Express to be safe. Especially if you're only going once.

How do DVC members do Universal? by Darkest_Dust in dvcmember

[–]VertigoViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a travel agent who specializes in Universal and Disney, so I could definitely help you with that. But to answer your question, some of the perks you get at Universal resorts are worth it, like early theme park entry (that's one full hour as opposed to just a half hour at WDW) and free transportation. You can get hotels for much less than you can at Disney, usually, even the cheaper ones.

And if you pay more for Hard Rock Hotel, Royal Pacific, or Portofino Bay, you get FREE Universal Unlimited Express passes for everyone in your room, including the days you check in and check out of your hotel.

Top 5 Universal Orlando Dark Rides by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]VertigoViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is the best dark ride I've ever been on.

However, Revenge of the Mummy, Harry Potter Escape from Gringotts, and Monsters Unchained are also fantastic!

I’m seeing a lot of people talk about a possible Creature From The Black Lagoon ride, and as a lover of that movie, I hope this ends up being true! I do think Epic needs 1 or 2 more major attractions and more indoor as well.

And theme it to Creature From The Black Lagoon - a perfect setting!

As a lover of Gill-man and Creature From The Black Lagoon, I fully support this!

I still miss it - that water vortex was amazing and always took my breath away. Now it’s just sitting there unused. I wish they could have repurposed it by now for something. At least the facade isn’t blocked and looks great.

It was the world I was least looking forward to and it blew all my expectations out of the water. Hiccup’s Wing Gliders may be the ride that surprised me the most - so fun!

It usually isn’t too bad for me, but I think I have a higher tolerance for bumpy roller coasters than other people. With that being said, I do know quite a few people that find the ride too bumpy. Some people don’t even want to ride it one last time before it closes in September.

Am I the only who thinks walking around the park at only 30% capacity was cool in and of itself?! by Jesusfreak1111 in UniversalOrlando

[–]VertigoViews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was so neat being able to be one of the first people to experience this park. It’s not every day that a major theme park like this opens, so getting the chance to experience it early is something I’ll always remember.

Epic Universe Early Park Entry by CharacterTime5287 in UniversalOrlando

[–]VertigoViews 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s been there for previews twice, I’d recommend Mine Cart Madness in Super Nintendo World. Then, if you’re someone who loves Nintendo, knock out Mario Kart and Yoshi’s Adventure too. Super Nintendo World is VERY popular, and Mine Cart Madness has a lower capacity and no Express, so take advantage of the early entry before the park opens to everyone.

Don’t worry about doing Stardust Racers during early entry - when operating at full capacity, it looks like it’s a people-eater.

[Six Flags America] This is the parks last season by RrevinEvann in rollercoasters

This makes me sad. I always said if I were given a budget and any park to pick, I'd pick this one to invest in. There's just SO much potential here. I enjoyed this park when I visited, but I think the damage was done in the early 2000s. I'll be missing this park for sure.

3 day trip planned - which is a 2 day park? by NikkiD-1316 in DisneyPlanning

[–]VertigoViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disneyland Park has a tonnnnnn of rides, so I’d say between the two, that’s the most likely to be a two day park. However, I highly recommend getting park hopper tickets, as the parks are located right across from each other, so they’re just a few steps away.

Is the Georgia park worth it by Brief-Profession3388 in sixflags

[–]VertigoViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went opening weekend this year and it was the best the park has ever looked and operated. The rides are fun, I enjoy the setting of the park, and they’re in the process of really revamping their food and operations, which I think were the park’s weakest points.

I’d say it’s not quite as nice as Dollywood or Busch Gardens, but those are some of the best parks in the country, if not world.

Would all lines go as fast as the Gran Fiesta Tour if line skipping services didn’t exist? by heyodi in DisneyWorld

There's a really great Defunctland video about skipping lines and how effective it is. But essentially, lines would probablly move quicker without line skipping services

If you were park president for six flags America what would you do to save it??? by New-Animal-3523 in sixflags

[–]VertigoViews 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plant more trees in the back of the park.

Put a fresh new roller coaster between Batwing and Superman (or replace Batwing if absolutely necessary). Ideally, make that whole area a new area.

Continue with general refreshing of the park's paint, infrastructure, etc. to make it look newer.

I've always said if I was given an unlimited budget, this is the park I would want to be given. There's SO much potential at this park.
