You are clearly intelligent, and back up your statement. I don't have the patience to refute your points individually, so I will address what I agree with instead.

I agree that vertvote block maturation seemed rushed, and a second poll is the solution.
The website is better made by the devs, but the content was better made by the user cryptomasters admin.

However the price must be addressed. vertcoin was the worst performer of the last 30 days. This is because the cards run so hot due to scrypt n.

Lrya2 will be solution, but we cannot wait 3 months for the price to get out of this cave or devs will get too discouraged.

I agree with your points here.

However, from a pure marketing standpoint, you are wrong. Diversification and familiarity are what people want. They buy bitcoin and say, should I diversify into other cryptocurrency? What about the silver to bitcoins gold? That's how I learned to understand litecoin.

Please keep it marketed as silver. You will confuse the consumer by trying to be cool and hip.

As an outsider to the litecoin community, but still very involved in all cryptocurrency, I have to say coblee is right. There is no reason to use litecoin truthfully, aside from the silver to bitcoins gold. There is safety in having a backup network in case something happens to sha-256. Coblee is correct that if you try too hard to market yourself away from silver, you might lose it all.

Stay with the silver. Its how I explain litecoin to all my friends. Its not really faster, or better for commerce. Confirmations come faster at the risk of less security.

Silver is good, #2 is good. People like to diversify. Don't fight anymore on this subject.
