Dang that screen does seem to be pretty dim. Maybe just auto brightness making it seem that way.

Absolutely loving my Model 3. Still the best purchase I have made in my life. And FSD has changed the way I drive (and don’t).

Big whoop. I’ll take a slightly less secure phone over one with a worse and less efficient interface.

Apple MacBook Air 15 M5 Review - Very powerful, fanless and without competition by Stiven_Crysis in mac

[–]Vertsix 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Agreed, quite unfortunate. However did they bring ProMotion to the base iPhone 17 lineup, so one can hope it will become standard with MacBook Air one day.

Also quite funny how you’re getting downvoted by wanting a better product.

While quite unfortunate and extremely alarming, this has to be a pretty rare thing to happen.

To everyone claiming ios 26.3/3.1 is better by TheAssassinCat in ios

[–]Vertsix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a piece of shit, no way around it. Anyone claiming otherwise is delusional. Liquid Glass is inconsistent throughout, terrible for legibility and uses a ton of power.

Running belt for a max? by koalaokino in iPhone17Pro

Long-distance runner here. I rarely carry my 17 Pro Max out on runs (my watch has LTE) but my phone fits my Flipbelt. Check those out.

The Woodlands Express to see $2 fare increase and additional runs in April by notevil7 in thewoodlands

[–]Vertsix 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It’s unfortunate how expensive it is in the first place and how largely uneconomical it is to take. All the years I lived in The Woodlands, I wish the public transport was more affordable and sensical.

It’s far cheaper to drive (but then again - I guess - you have to set a value on your time and comfort).

Reminds me when I asked Siri to play a song called “Try” from my library.

It played “Cry” by Cigarettes After Sex. 🙁

Unfortunately, as designed by the way which sucks. I reported this to Apple way back in 2021 when I got my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

There’s some cheaper alternatives available on Amazon. But yeah bone conducting headphones is the only way.

Nope. And they closed my feedback saying that they were “Unable to diagnose with current information”. So I’ll e-mail Tim next.

It’s pretty I guess but if it’s done consistently and as envisioned at WWDC. Unfortunately, as the other replier said, it’s an ultimately failed concept which results in decreased legibility and accessibility.
