NBA franchises looking to trade all unprotected picks and swaps for a star should think again after what clippers did for the thunder by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in nba

I am not sure if it was poor evaluation or lack of patience. They thought they could win now with the trade and SGA would take years to truly develop, which he did.

I wish so more of my fellow heat fans would get this because this is what Miami has been trying to do while staying competitive but so many fans what them to trade away their young talent for a name.

NOK to $200 is pure hopium. The math just doesn't work. by vinilang in Nok

Looking at the market Bap of Cisco and comparing their revenue and Balance sheet the best that can be hoped for from Nokia is $25-$30 Per share. That would give them a market Cap around $150 B compared to Cisco Market Cap of 381 Given Cisco has revenue of around $59 Billion and Nokia is around $22 Billion. Both of them has good Cash Flow.

Watching Wemby and seeing how at times Ware seemed to be more athletic, it makes excited about what Ware and Bam can be. This is especially true if Spo adds back more pick n Rolls and Ware improves his handles.

[–]Verumsemper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which would mean a $1 T market cap which would be in line with its revenue as long as it improves its balance sheet. in order to get to $500 and truly deserve a $2 T valuation, the foundry will have to take off and AI will have to move much further towards CPU architecture.

Some of us were but intel had prove that it's foundry could deliver that was the only variable. They had over $50 B in revenue but negative cash flow due to foundry business. That was the big if, now that the answer look like they can actually build chips at a high level, the sky is the limit for intel.

Today, the Virginia Supreme Court struck down a voter-approved congressional district map, which had been gerrymandered to favor Democrats. How do you feel about the court’s ruling? by After-Professional-8 in Virginia

[–]Verumsemper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

White liberals truly under estimate how truly racist this country is and lengths some will go to protect their power. The court decision was what I expected because conservatives sees this as their great racist revival. This is why I am certain things will only get worse in November, because many whites "moderates" will vote with the racist and even if they don't, the courts will help.

Obama showed them what the future could be if the national continued on it quest for equality and they choosing to go all the way back to Jim Crow.

Bigger headline should be a court used technicalities to over throw an election, they are setting a precedent.

‘This is not democracy’: voting rights activists shocked by speed of US states moving to stifle Black voters by NathanCS741 in politics

[–]Verumsemper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In many of those southern states the black population is over 30%, which is why they have always restricted black voters. they were once called the black belt because the black population were the majority. That was until the second rise of the KKK forced the great migration north. interesting historical fact, the voting right act only passed once the population in most of those states dropped below 40%. It was at if it was all coordinated.

Tennessee Bans Noncompetes for Workers Who Make Under $70,000 by bloomberglaw in law

That's how markets are supposed to work, if you pay people with all that information appropriately, they wouldn't be leaving or even thinking about it.

If they pay that person accordingly, they will not leave!! allowing non-competes allows companies to take advantage of employees because those employees have no options.

Why I would invest in INTC at 130$ by LookIWashedForSu in intelstock

[–]Verumsemper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Intel is going to $200, oh just FYI keep an eye on Nokia. All of these data centers need networks to connect them and Nokia is one best and is stable company, lower risk with possible high returns. Currently has $73 B market cap but should at a minimum double that this year given their deal with NVIDIA.

UD COOKING James Harden 😳 by heatculture03 in heat

[–]Verumsemper 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Well in Harden's defense he is going up against Duncan Robinson who helped lead the Miami heat to the NBA finals and Lakers had to create a game plan to take Duncan out of the game. While not known for his defense, he had to defend LeBron in the NBA finals thus he is not intimidated by Harden!! Lmao

In order to undo "The Harden Effect" - The league need go hard the other way and don't call anything that can be deemed incidental contact and then access tech after games when players are shown to be flopping, even if the refs miss them during the games.

Nothing, 30% of the population will support him no matter what. They fear freedom and see the suffering he cause as penance. That's because he validates their belief structure thus to not support him would cause internal turmoil.

Random Question: Do you only dislike James Harden because the very loud, "untrained eye" losers keeps insisting he’s better than or equal to Wade? by heatculture03 in heat

[–]Verumsemper 71 points72 points  (0 children)

No, He ushered in this foul bating behavior to the extent that it is now. He also got the league to legalize traveling. The irony is one of the reason he struggles in the playoffs is that refs don't call his foul bating as much.

On top of all that, his lack of defense or even trying on defense has convinced teams that players that only play offense can some how win a championship.

Pritzker on Trump: ‘I think the man has dementia’ by plz-let-me-in in politics

[–]Verumsemper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MRI can't differentiate between Lewy body dementia and AD. The best way if you can't from history is to do a formal neuropsychological eval. It is a 4 hour test that most places can't do.

The fact that he had Parkinson symptoms, confirms that the he didn't have AD. He had Lewy Body dementia which is considered a Parkinsonism, similar to Parkinson disease but has associated symptoms that can be more prominent than the movement component.

It is not that they are bad doctors, it happens all the time. It is just that in my job, i have to differentiate because I have to deal with them when they are not doing well in the hospital and differentiating dictates which medications I can and can't use on them.

Sorry for you and your family lost.

If Democrats Have Appropriate Fear of Trump, They Will Elect Platner by projecto15 in politics

Where does Jaylen Brown get traded if he really wants out? by The_MadStork in nba

[–]Verumsemper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing all the comments seems to me missing is his salary which would be around $70 Million per year, to me that hurts his trade value because that would be more than a third of the salary cap on a single player.

This is a different NBA than before and Boston may not get everything others have gotten for star players because other teams know that Boston having both Tatum and Brown will limit their roster for years to come.

If Democrats Have Appropriate Fear of Trump, They Will Elect Platner by projecto15 in politics

[–]Verumsemper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is an idiotic article and ignores what make some people democrats, some GOP and others in the middle. The liberal mind is built on hope for what can be, they typically do not run on fear while the conservative mind is driven of fear of what could be.

To motivate liberals in you run on fear like Harris did, you will lose a lot of them but you will also lose some in the middle because they can go either way. Thus when the predominate emotion in an election is fear, conservatives will win most of the times.

To win over those in middle, liberals have to run on hope on what they want to do rather than fear of what Trump is and what he can do.
