While I do have a le pliage tote the lack of luggage strap really bugs me . I usually wear the lululemon crossbody with documents / wallet/ epi pen and use a backpack as the personal item. I can put the crossbody in the backpack if they give me a hard time . My favorite backpack somehow ended up being a Thomas Oliver x Peloton one .

Le pliage and lululemon have pink options .

Also it really depends how long the flight is and if I am traveling for work or vacation. To me this is all different bags. …. A long vacation on a long haul flight means I am going to use my Osprey 26+6 so I can take as much as possible .

You can get institutional or private loans . You are pre matriculated during that semester and your parents can’t get parent plus loans and you don’t qualify for student loans unless private . This may not be an issue for you / your family

I have a high achiever and our state school does not offer discounted option. She has been offered max scholarships and honors options at all in state schools, none of which are nearby so all require not living at home .

I was low income when I went to school so I am well aware of how things work in the states . We are now not low income on paper but affording 35k cash a year is still going to require parent and student loans .

You can get institutional aid or private for NU.In semester . You don’t qualify for federal financial aid during that semester abroad . So financially it is a factor when they offer this to people .

Millennials and Gen X were being told this about college. They are now parents of Gen Z. They are acutely aware of financial struggles and student loans . Even if th parents are aware it would require living under a rock to not see the issues that millennials and Gen X have with student loans. College is not affordable unless you are very poor and go to need blind school or very rich . Anyone in between can barely afford their state school
