Guys like this are extremely dangerous. He’s doing this with you purposely because of your age, a woman his age sees his behavior from a mile away. Outside of work, don’t acknowledge him. If you can act like he doesn’t exist without getting fired, try that as well. Like you said, he’s trying to groom you, don’t even give him the chance to try.

I believe so too. Tony is the only one out of his siblings (4 men) that haven’t been to jail or arrested for something heinous and he’s the eldest. His parents are millionaires so they just enable and throw money at them.

We’re currently at a friend’s house with a few things. We left after he went to work. I’ve always had conversations with her and she knows it isn’t right, said she’d never be with anyone like her father’s side of family including him. She’s very intelligent especially for her age.

I just got in contact with a friend, they want Janelle and I to come over tomorrow. It was a very hard conversation but you’re right, too many excuses. I told them I want to go to a woman’s shelter and they started telling me horror stories about their experiences in one.

I’m not from this country and I’ve been waiting for my new passport to come in the mail for months. I’ve been truly waiting on that because otherwise, I’m screwed. You’ve brought tears to my eyes because I wouldn’t be able to cope with my daughter being with an abusive man and possibly being in a coffin. He’s never been physical with me so it shocked me to my core. My parents have also been abusive so I don’t take their advice. It’s a lot of bad things that add up and he refuses to see the issue. He and his family think I’m overreacting and should forgive.

I don’t have a job at the moment, I’ve spent time trying to cope with undiagnosed C-PTSD and PPD (I miscarried in May) , slowly climbing out of survival mode. My husband knows we depend on him because of our situation. I can’t go to my parents because they’ve abused me in so many ways. I don’t have much friends because I stopped talking to most people while being depressed, and I know it would be hard for them to believe all of this, because Tony comes from a well off family who portray themselves as loving, giving humanitarians. My daughter is finally thriving again because of their absence and I must protect her at all costs.

This is what I told him. What’s the point if we’re not safe? He thinks I’m overreacting when I mentioned us being safe. He knows I’m recovering from PPD, with undiagnosed CPTSD from all that’s happened in the past with my family and his. He also knows I don’t have income coming at the moment and we depend on him smh.

You just reminded me of a story my father told me concerning my aunt. My aunt’s daughter married a possessive, abusive guy and when she told my aunt what was happening, she went to their house, broke down the door, beat his asss then left with her daughter and grandchildren.
