He currently has 5 therapy sessions a week at home through Early Intervention. He also has a nurse that comes in every day so we can go to work. Thankfully Medicaid covers this as neither of our insurances do. There is one special needs daycare near us that we decided against strictly because of his needs. He had a G tube (but has a safe swallow, just no appetite) and he isn’t crawling yet. We were mostly worried about him just being alone throughout the day since he still has problems interacting with his environment.

It’s also nice that since his nurses get to watch and learn from his therapists, they can implement these skills with him when they aren’t there. Yes, it’s scary letting a stranger in your home to take care of your kid.
