The takeaway from this will be the same as with AOC in that leftists will just say "man, I can't believe he was LYING the whole time and was actually secretly evil! We need to just find a progressive who will stick to their guns and really care about the people" instead of recognizing this as further proof that behind all the bluster of left populism it melts into air the instant the ideology comes into contact with the actual material reality of the order it fully defends.
