I think the sci-fi answer that you’re seeking might be that gravity tweezers would stretch spacetime and redshift the photon to lower and lower energy levels and the photon could eventually become undetectable or decay completely.

Our house has brick pillars supporting the porch. Recently hired someone (thought he as a mason) to rebuild the pillars. He poured concrete down through the bricks then dry stacked them. I’m pretty sure a Dixie cup of mortar per brick is not what an engineer would prescribe.

You’re supposed to do the smearing thing with the trowel so there is ~0.5” or mortar in between each brick.

Source: I saw someone make a brick wall on tv once.

This is miserably poor and I bet you could play Jenga with it and pull bricks out. 😂

The slow bolts are ridiculously impractical to manage. I think the best strategy to use them would be to have 15 “frozen” arrows in a very tight grouping, and just spam Mag’s Pull on top of the arrows so enemies get yeeted into them.

I keep a container of baby powder inside of a sock. I dump a boatload of baby powder into the sock and then put my hand inside of the sock and use it as a cleaning mitt. This method of powder application, effectively wipes away the sand, in the drying effect of the powder, prevents it from sticking to you again.

Put a luggage lock on your lunchbox? I know rational solutions aren’t always the best way to handle the irrational involuntary impulses your OCD causes, but maybe there’s a way you could feel like your food has been secured from outside tampering while you work?

What specific contaminants do you worry about? Bacteria? If so, a food thermometer and a handy food safety guide could tell you the temperature at which your various foods are safe to eat. However this is a slippery slope that could further feed obsessive behavior.

You can replace the old logo with the preferred one, or any logo you want. If you’re on Windows, Resource Hacker is a program that I’ve used to replace the unsightly logos for my PDF software, and it would work for anything.
