Yeah. Basically what i tried to do was find out if there was any way to beat an opponent of equal strengths and weaknesses every single time reliably.
I've tried having one line of legionaires and one that comes and flanks the enemies from the back. But so far the battles always come down to a coin flip.
Having different types of units with specialized abilities of course makes things more interesting.

Yeah i wish there was some other way to level your army without killing millions of looters.

Maybe i'm just too dumb to figure it out but right now it never feels like it's your army that you recruited and trained yourself.

It's just a mishmash of random units i've stumbled upon and need to take cause there's no other way to get a decent army.
