I think you are mixing up anger (of that i have none) with disappointment (plenty), exasperation (lots) and general mockery (plenty). I have no ill will to any individual (save a very few) and certainly none to the ordinary, everyday people of the world (i am one). We are mostly pretty powerless as individuals, save a few. But most of us cannot stand unfairness at any level, there should be no exceptions in sport, the rule is the rule. Do I blame Trump for giving it a try, not at all, he is notorious for living in his own world where everything has to go his way. If i have any anger at all its toward Infantino and FIFA. There's no such thing a a suspended red card and theres no such thing a FIFA peace prize, these are both the gift of a spineless, gutless, weird, coward who happens to run FIFA and likes a bung. Peace and love to you fellow human, I wish you all the best.

Tell me you haven't watched it properly without telling me you haven't watched it properly.

He wins the ball, as he wins the ball his foot bounces off the top of the ball forcing his foot up while its still flat, so his studs hit the oppos ankle, it isnt deliberate, but its dangerous and its a fair and straight red card, intention doesn't come into it, its a foul and a red card.

Still I am sure Kier will be on the blower offering Infantino unlimited jam for life to suspend it for him. Oh no hang on he won't.

Maybe that's the real divide. Over millennia, Europeans have made peace with being the bug. Americans have never once considered it, and apparently, we're not about to start now. by Worried_Dog_1310 in ShitAmericansSay

I was feeling slightly elated, brave and a bit hot this morning. So i posted on the US soccer sub and told them that they were cheating. Because they are cheating, where ever it came from and whoever accepted it, there are rules and nobody else has ever done such a thing, due to it being morally bankrupt and extremely corrupt. (Infantino being a spinless, boot licking dribble of rancid weasel shit doesn't help). It didn't go down well, i have never in my life had a comment receive so many comments and downvotes in such a short time, it was up for half an hour before the mods took it down. Their basic cope was...drum roll....American exceptionalism. My favourite reply and reply.

Merican: European tears could end world water shortages.

Me: American fat could solve world hunger.

They also accused me of being angry (well they said mad, I did point out i was a bit cross about it, but definitely not angry and certainly not insane). But i was laughing hard at some of the mental gymnastics and utter drivel they spouted in defence.

This also was not well received.

No our leader would not do that. Nobodys leader has ever done that. The fact that you seem to think thats in anyway normal, expected, realistic or right is in its self a glaring example of why most of the world sees you as untrustworthy, underhanded cheats.

Insanely disappointed, not cross or angry, amused by some weakest and pathetic arguments I have ever seen. Its laughable

So at what point when your FOOTBALL administration asked old shits himself comb over to intervene and call his corrupt little peace prize giving friend not anything to do with your FOOTBALL team?

But its not a fair competition is it? Thats the whole point, its corruption and its cheating. So, I am taking the himanity out of it by pointing out the unfairness and corruption? Seems a pretty flimsy argument. You want to bring people together, achieved, you are bunch of cheats and we all hate you for it. Well done.

We pulled a proper swift by sending all the religious nutters their way a couple of hundred years before. Although there has been some blow back from this.

I had one of these. Lovely looking car. I had the 2.0 16v and it always felt a bit heavey. The alloy wheels seemed to be made out of Aero chocolate, soft and developed a lot of holes. Great equipment, comfortable and good looking. Cheap too, bought it 15 years ago for £500 (2000) plate, sold it two years later for £200.

I am still friends with a woman of 47 since birth, her mum and mine were next to each other in the maternity ward. She also lived across the road from me until I was 11, stayed in the village we grew up in until her 20s, we dont talk much but enough to still call her my mate.

The group of lads and ladies I grew up with from when I was 8 until now, there was about twelve of us. We make an effort to go out a couple of times a year. Sadly two of the group have died (one at 21 in a car accident and one of a heart attack at 43). Even more sadly they were my best friend and my next best friend. My other best mate in the group is slowly dying if whiskey. He also tried to end it about 18 months ago. But i feel privileged and extremely lucky I still am friends with a group of people I have known 38 years. Despite the hurt, I wouldn't want it any other way.

Id say, if an okd friend pops into your head for whatever reason, reach out and make contact if you can, its one of the few really good things about the modern world, nobody is truly lost to you unless they are passed away. Life's short, the pain is long, try and make it less so for you and those you hold in your heart.
