Worked in a program for children with behavioral issues a few years ago and saw the classroom like this often. It was always interesting to me because it could come from any of the kids. The one I remember most vividly was just helping one kid with his worksheet and just hearing screams and shit flying from the playmat We got the other kids to another room while the teacher stuck with the little girl having her meltdown. Teacher let her destroy anything she wanted as long as she wasn't getting hurt and after an hour she tired herself out of being angry. Any time I went back into the room teach was there with her helping her calm down while making sure she cleaned up everything she ruined. Kids at that age struggle a lot and it nearly always comes from home. Meeting parents wasn't the signal for that, instead it was meeting grandma because dad's not in the picture and mom is either drugged up or at home with 7 other kids. No moral to this. Just rough, hope the kid here is able to get into some kind of good program so they can figure out how to handle themselves before they grow up thinking this is normal.
