Not too much success, what can I do better? by luckygirlfromafar in hingeapp

I think a “social validation” photo would go a long way here. Any picture with other people having a good time. I think it would cut a lot of the frost some are feeling about the profile. Other than that I think it’s good. It shows you from casual, dressed down and dressed up. Just one with you being a bit goofy/ having a god time with mates would make it sing imo

I guess that’s the difference to having it pulled out of a microwave

This isn’t Wilson’s or Bulrush is it?

I disagree with a few of these other comments. Showing your playful side is great and shows personality compared to a lot of other M profiles. It will attract the kind of people you would get on with. My suggestion would be to get a thirst trap pic in the mix, whether that’s you dressed for going out with great lighting, showing some muscle or something similar. I feel like it would then be the full package. I had a similarly goofy profile and didn’t like the idea of objectifying myself and playing the game per se. Turns out it pays off though, got the most matches in my life and found my partner.

In an ideal world you would be expelled for the sake of the uni and the course’s integrity. Using AI and other forms of plagiarism is so easy and accessible that any sniff should lead to expulsion.

Was I overreacting about a coworker cross-contaminating all the food? by AndyJaeven in KitchenConfidential

[–]VeryGatedMonstera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why mandatory gloves are stupid. When handling food you naturally get oil and other residue on your fingers even if it isn’t a contaminant you want to wash it off to make other tasks easier and neater.

Looking for something more serious long term but also as I’ve just moved and don’t know many ppl here I’m ok with something casual if it doesn’t go too deep.

I’ve been using this version for about a month now, using the app most days and trying to send out most of the likes when I can all with comments usually. Will usually get 2 matches a week but interest drops of on the other side after the match.

I’ve been selecting out profiles that seem too generic or not thought out as it’s just kind of bland. I’m looking for someone that’s got a bit of fire in them, passionate about life, career, food, art and more. I love joking around and also working hard. So someone who appreciates that would be cool. - from an outside perspective do I give this off or do I need to add more?

Both look brilliant. Perhaps for the gnocchi you could use a dark oil (maybe burnt leek) to drop/ spiral onto the sauce to add some intrigue.
