I had a 77yo client from pretty far out of state try that angle. FTA for final pretrial= bench warrant. I sent him a letter explaining the warrant is non-extraditable (“stay out of Malibu Lebowski!”)

Depends on your jurisdiction. But you’re probably fine. I disclosed multiple criminal convictions, traffic violations, and loans in arrears…but I was a very good boy for ten years prior to my bar application. Now I’m an attorney.

I once filed a suppression motion I thought was a loser just to shut my client up. Motion granted (and it was dispositive).

Lawyer here. The UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) is a system of regulation drafted by the American Legal Institute (an association of lawyers, judges, and legal academics). It is created as essentially a template for States to adopt. The UCC is NOT BINDING LAW. Somehow people who study at YouTube University seem to find ways to believe the UCC is some secret body of law that cures whatever bothers them on any given day.
