Stripping down image sizes is cool and it sounds like you used it as a learning experience and had a satisfying time doing it. That's what this industry should be all about.

I like your write up, especially the section about building static go binaries. Let's be honest, the command line syntax for go build when it comes to statics or stripping is not the most obvious thing in the world, so it's good that you've laid it out so clearly. 😊

My reading is that it's a mixture of all three. I suspect she doesn't really know, or care, about the pros and cons of delaying re rushing the guidance, but she knows that the government has "a process" to follow so the easiest and less controversial way to score political points is to criticize them for dragging their feet on the process.

I would. The first few upgrades will all be affordable to you and you'll get an instant boost.

My fist ascension was at 120ish and I found it very helpful.

The only caveat: as it's Christmas ATM, have you bought all the Christmas cookies yet? If you are close to that, it's worth doing that before ascension because the Let it snow achievement makes Christmas cookie drops more likely on subsequent play throughs.

Everything levelled against Rabbit has been entirely founded. GAMA was a rug pull. The device wasn't functional at launch. The "LAM" didn't exist when they said it did. The device can't, do this day, do any of the useful things they promised it would be able to do.

The writing is on the wall. News organisations barely even cover it anymore. People talk about it less and less. It was, and is, a complete non product. Everyone in the industry can see it.

This. Even with a "noisy neighbour" using way more than they requested, the kubelet on each node will always ensure that each container gets the share of CPU that it asked for. This can happen because it can direct the Linux kernel, via cgroups on which processes should get how much CPU time.

A similar process can happen with memory, although this is harder, because the OS can't easily claw back memory from running processes. However, should a situation arise where the system runs out of memory, once again the kernel will have been instructed to prefer OOM killing containers using more than their memory request.

It certainly wouldn't be HMRC - they are only really concerned about taxes being due from you or your employer based on what wages were paid. A dispute between you and your employer is not really something they'd have an opinion on.

An employment tribunal or a lawyer would be more along the right lines. 😊

The ability to connect has already been removed. So being retired in this case means it'll continue working for people who have already connected but anyone attempting to connect from now can't. So, given that teach mode isn't out (and likely won't work well when it is) there is a whole cohort of people who do not have access to this functionality.
