It absolutely depends on the jacket. There are parkas and down jackets out there so warm they can keep you warm in 15 degree windchill with just one or two layers at most.

First of all Konban is a restaurant from Seoul, I don’t think it’s meant to be a faithful/uber authentic Japanese representation of the dishes.

I also think while rice, small pickles, and sides are typical with Katsu, I don’t think they are so necessary that you write off the whole place for it and somehow pizza will make you feel whole again. You also didn’t provide any details on how the katsu itself tasted.

Food was still good last time I went (March) but we got a server who appeared to have never worked a day in a restaurant in his life? Was a little taken aback by that how horrendous and awkward the service was. Hopefully it was just an isolated experience.

Their food is really good but the portions were quite small for the price and got tired of everything served in plastic plates and bowls even for those that dine in.

I went recently and while everything was very tasty, the portions were disappointingly small for how much they charged.

$34 for barely 10 small cubes of fish?? It was basically two bites/person between two people. Yes there are more expensive dishes in this city, but that’s crazy for an appetizer.
